Old Town Gem
This location was perfect. We were minutes walk from the heart of Old Town without being stuck in the hustle and bustle. The apartment itself was well kept and me seen with everything we needed for our stay including a stove top kitchen ware and a fridge. We would absolutely stay here again.

You should not book this place. The pictures are very deceiving as they have a lot of water pictures on the webthat indicate are ‘lobby’ but these rooms do not offer any water view! The view from the bedroom is of the street and the rooms are against the wall and you cannot see any water.. in fact there is a whole bunch of rubble covered up with tarps….not a nice patio area. also the room is very hard to locate as they do NOT have the ‘apartment’ plaque that should be outside the door where us enter. This room is also the farthest from any of the entrances to old Dubrovnik..so lots of stairs and distance but we thought that it would be worth it because we thought we were going to be right on the water but not true! Only one set of keys inconvenience when u have 3 adults going in different directions. When I asked her about the pictures she said. The pictures are from her daughter’s apartment and from the ‘bar’ that is several blocks away. So these pictures should be removed from the website because they do not represent this property. The other issues that we had. With this property was the ‘solvent smell’ looks like they did some renovations and there is a very strong solvent smell especially at night that smells very TOXIC and cannot be healthy. they try and cover up the smell with air fresheners that plug into socket. They also have this “humidifier’ in the bedroom to mask the smell but it looked like it

Amazing stay
This was an amazing stay! It was our first time In Croatia and a great introduction to the country. Nevena was so accommodating and did whatever she could for us. The apartment was clean and spacious and in an amazing location. Couldn’t have asked for a better stay. We loved it.

Property has been refurbished
The property has been refurbished to a high standard so any reviews older than 2021 you can safely ignore. Location is excellent and saves much of the stair climbing associated with apartments elsewhere in The Old Town. Nena was fabulous and went above and beyond to help us out.

I was comfortable. Location was convenient for getting around Old Dubrovnik. Be prepared to carry your luggage in and out of town about 1/2 mile each way. Prices are high, but one can find a few places to eat and stay within a budget.

Nana the owner is a lovely lady. The apartments are in a great location. Loved living with the locals. The only negative thing I could say is that I would have loved a toaster. I wouldn’t hesitate going back.

This property was not properly photographed and described on the Expedia website. My family of 5 stayed for 4 nights and the apartment seemed very unkept and run down. Many wires hanging out of the wall. No kickboards or molding to close the gaps between the wall and floors. Cockroaches everywhere and you could hear the Mice inside the walls. The TV did not work and the owner was very quick to leave. There were no extra trash bags or paper towel rolls. The owner never came to give us fresh towels or take out the trash in the 4 days we were there. In order to reach the property owner I had to walk to a local restaurant to ask for her. She could not be reached so the restaurant worker called the son and then he sent over his sister after 1 hour. The apartment was not clean. The carpet was nailed to the wood floor. The kitchen was new. The table in the kitchen was loose at the legs and 1 kitchen chair was coming apart. The bathroom shower door had a lot of mold on it . Expedia has been wonderful with helping us through this ordeal. I would not recommend this facility.

Stay here if you want a true Dubrovnik apartment period you are actually part of the wall when you stay here and you will hear people outside of the skylights. I found it incredibly charming to stay there. You are truly literally next to the bar on the beach and it's a great place to hang out and get into the water and escape the crowds and get called off. N e n a cannot be sweeter she is delightful and really makes a great effort at making our stay comfortable. Thank you so much for your generosity of helping us with our bags.

Small, comfortable apartment in a good location
We stayed for three nights and found the apartment easily - just behind the cathedral - helped by Nevena, the friendly owner, who let us in. The apartment is small but contained everything we needed for our stay. As we were there at the end of December, we needed heating in the apartment - and there was plenty - an oil-filled radiator providing background heat and a wall-mounted unit that blew hot air around the room. That presumably also acts as an air-cooler in the summer. There's a separate heater in the bathroom. The bathroom is quite small but everything we needed was there - plenty of hot water, a good shower and enough storage space. The kitchenette is very compact - but why cook when Dubrovnik is full of restaurants, cafes and bars! We found the beds comfortable and there was just about enough storage space. Outside, there is a good-sized, covered terrace, which was a bit chilly to use when we were there but which must be wonderful in warmer times of the year. You can sit with a glass of wine and watch the people walking along the city walls! Of course, the location is great - anywhere inside the walls of the old town is going to be no distance from what you want to see. The apartment is only a couple of hundred yards from the stage erected for the musicians at the end of Stradun but we weren't disturbed by the quite loud music being played there! Wifi was a bit hit-and-miss, sometimes OK, sometimes not! The landlady was very helpful when we contacted her.

Good location
The studio room was extremely small but adequate since not a lot of time was spent in it. The veranda is an area with a table and chairs however you look at walls. The room was not well ventilated as it had a terrible musty odour. Black mold in the bathroom. The location was what made it. In the heart of “stari grad” with all attractions within metres of your door. If you are looking for something reasonable and close to the action this is your place. If you’re looking for comfort this is not your place. Lots of stairs so not recommend if you have mobility issues.

Think very carefully before booking!
Good position next to old city wall and could wave to walkers, great! Other than that, the safety aspect was very concerning: 1. First night there before retiring, very loud vibrating noise from under the stairs, big brown electrical box, still don't know what it is, was boiling hot to touch and seemed it would explode any minute and set stairs alight. Took out plug thinking I would be electrocuted, stayed very hot all night. 2. Electrical cords not safe, kettle, TV looped everywhere. 3. No maintenance: under double bed slats broken, outside table near to collapsing, dangerous. 4. I was aware of steps in the old city as had visited many years ago but the the last straw was 20 or more nearly vertical, dangerous narrow steps from the street to the unit door. Plus 2 flights inside the unit. If you are carrying a medium suitcase, I would strongly suggest other accommodation. Love Dubrovnik but hugely disappointed in the accommodation.

The apartment is wonderful and big! There were only two of us, so it was nice to have space and our own rooms. Ivana was amazing, very helpful and sweet. Located right along the wall, which is a perfect location! The ease of access to everything was superb. There are a lot of steps, but you’ll have a lot of steps no matter where you stay. My only minor complaint is the shower - you could stay in for about 10 minutes before the water started to cool off. That said, I would still stay here again in a heartbeat.

Excellent Position
A lovely little apartment within the city walls. We had a large terrace which was great to sit on with a glass of wine and wave to the people walking on the walls just above. We had a bad start to our holiday with flight delays and lost luggage but with the help of Ivana, the lady who looks after the apartment, it got sorted out and we cannot thank her enough. We would certainly return again to this apartment in the future

Great location once you found it. Check in straightforward. Whilst I appreciate you are staying in an old part of the old city money could be spent upgrading the apartment. Needed a toaster in the kitchen, new towels and some general maintenance .

I stayed at the apartment for 3 days along with my friend. Ana was really helpful and ensured that we settle in well. We wanted to try some local food and Ana very kindly recommended some restaurants which turned out to be one of the best things we enjoyed during our stay. As far as the apartment goes it's quite central and quite comfortable. However, the bathroom is quite narrow and no toiletries were provided. It was not a big deal for us but make sure to bring your own. Everything else was great! She even changed the light bulbs on the same day when they tripped over and went off! Overall a really good experience and I wouldn't mind booking it again! Oh, and she even arranged a drop off for us which was quite cheap compared to the taxi we got to get there!

Great experience from start to finish. Nevena met us at the city walls and even helped with our baggage through the picturesque streets and lanes up to the apartment. The location is perfect with panoramic views from the seaside balcony and old city views from the second balcony. A comfortable apartment with fridge, freezer and cooking facilities made for a very special stay in a wonderful old city. Highly recommended.

Comfortable room and conveniently located. Hostess was very obliging. We would recommend having clear directions to apt prior to arriving...Google maps etc. The streets were a maze and fun to explore but not necessarily upon arrival with all of your gear.

Quiet but great location
Great location. Just around the corner from an excellent swimming spot and not far from another swimming spot with a bar. Apartment is clean and in a quiet part of the walled town. You will receive an email from a booking agency and you'll need to phone their number so they can phone the owner to greet you. It's a bit of a nuisance but at least the owner lives nearby so it doesn't take long.

It is antique apparent, inside of the Old city.
This is perfect location, antique setting, terrace, beach , museums, restaurants - great stuff . Few things cen be fixed- didn't bother to me.

Had such an amazing time here! We felt like locals while staying at the apartments! This apartment is all about location, location, location along with comfort, comfort, confort. I cannot tell you enough about how amazing our stay was! The hardest part was that because the old town has no roads for cars, it will require a bit of walking with luggage through a cobble stone roads and a few stairs. We overpacked and this was a bit of a speed bump, but it was so worth it when we got there! Thank you for such an amazing experience in a beautiful city!

Great apartment inside the Dubrovnik walls
This is a two bedroom apartment which is located inside the walls of the old city - you can chat with people walking on the walls. Very quiet because it's about a 5 minute walk from the busiest part of the old city. It was incredible to stay right in the middle of everything because it was easy to get to restaurants, stroll through town, and just enjoy the ambiance. The manager speaks wonderful English and was very accommodating to store our luggage on the day that we left. It was difficult to find for check-in – text the manager to meet you somewhere obvious so that she can take you to the apartment.

The apartment had a well equipped kitchen and a balcony with a great view overlooking the city wall and the Adriatic. The apartment also had a nice patio that overlooked the old town. The only negative was that the shower leaked a bit.

Great view and located in old town convenient
Great place in old town. We had sea view room excellent spacious. Lots of stairs but manageable. Awesome view over wall to sea from balcony you could seat on and talk to people walking the wall. Bed had two single sheets on top would prefer one king sheet. Hard to contact lady but neighbor took us round to her house just round corner. She was very friendly and helpful. Would be good to name of apartment on outside door to make easier to find right next to restaurant end of street which was easy to find. Highly recommend for location.

Owner needs to be more prepared!!!!!
The location was great. I was contacted by Direct-Booking.com to get all the details needed to find the apartment and get keys. The issues did not start until we got to the apartment and had to deal with the owner. I am not sure what the issue was, but we were informed right away that she was not expecting us until the next day and it showed. There were no sheets on the bed, coverlets over to the comforters, towels, soap or a hair dryer. We had to ask for everything and it seemed like we were more of an inconvenience than house guest. She did not give us sheets or coverlets until the 2nd night. She also made no effort to even check us in or take our information. When we returned from our trip on the 2nd day we had a very strongly worded note letting us know that if we didn't get checked in and pay right away we would be trouble. This isn't our issue when we were not informed. The other major issue was her lack of letting us know about the apartment. We woke up to no hot water. After calling, I found out there is a switch next to the light switch that turn off the water heater. So we had no hot water and didn't have any time to wait for it warm up as we had a day trip scheduled and needed to leave in an hour. The last item that made us feel less than welcome was during my phone call about the hot water is was informed that she didn't have time for me and hung up. Who does that? I don't need to be treated like this and no one else ever should either.

Excellent location in Old Town
Tricky to find at first ,,called ahead and was met to escort. After that very easy to maneuver in and out. Feels like home with everything you need for your stay. WHen it rained and everyone was huddled under awnings and restaurants I went home and watched the rain on the beautiful terrace with a tea. lots of stairs so be mindful youll be carrying the luggage.

Great location but...
The property where you stay is not where you pick up your keys, so pay attention to that. Also, the pictures and directions emailed to me where good for the first few steps, but the last couple directions did not make sense and were confusing. It's difficult because you are not in contact with the owner but with an intermediate booking company. There were ants where the toilet paper was stored and strange "droppings" each morning next the extra toilet paper where you put your tooth brush. There was a massive cockroach in the shower the last morning. We killed it and saved it and gave it to the owner to help her since she's never seen one. They were nice letting us have 12pm check out (instead of 10am) since up till 12pm there was a massive thunderstorm. The location is incredible and safe. We booked a room with three beds thinking it had a balcony with view but it didn't. The patio is shared with no view. There are lots of places to hit your head, so be careful. Again, the location was great and the price was reasonable.

Great location.2 min from centre of old dubrovnik and bombom beach/rocks. Private and secure through small door on the wall. Apartment needs updating and a good clean but it comfy and adequate .sky light opens onto the city wall and 8 o'clock comes you have the tourists over your head and waking you.

Wonderful apartment, but beware of hidden fees.
Wonderful apartment within the walls of the old city. That makes it a bit hard to find, but that would be true of any apartment in the old city. The owner is wonderful - friendly, helpful and speaks English. Be aware, however, that hotels in Croatia pay a fee to Hotels.com and / or Expedia as well as a hefty government tax that they pass on to the customer.
