"The unit was not cleaned at all. The indoor temperature was very hot, and the refrigerator was broken and emitting a foul odor. The kitchen utensils were dirty, and there were no basic amenities in the bathroom, such as towels, shower gel, or shampoo. It appears the owner lives downstairs and uses this unit regularly, simply moving out when a guest arrives. There was absolutely no professional cleaning done.
I have requested a full refund."

"Apartment Milenka was a little difficult to find but we were able to find it with the aid of the photographs supplied in the information supplied by Expedia. It would help if the directions specified that it is behind a Studenac Market which is where we were dropped off. The owner was very helpful and hospitable despite limited english. The apartment is very convenient to Dubrovnik Airport but a 30 - 40 minute drive to Dubrovnik. The owner arranged a ride for 6 of us to and from Dubrovnik at a...

"The hosts were incredibly accommodating to me as a young traveler studying abroad and visiting Dubrovnik for the weekend. I missed my flight due to an illness and they went out of their way to cater to me and my last minute booking! They even went as far as to bring me chicken noodle soup and flu medicine when I inquired about where a local pharmacy was! I cannot say enough incredible things about this place!"

"Staff helpfulness.
Excellent breakfast.
Good meal in Steak Restaurant.
If you want world class sea food go to Leut Restaurant on way to Cavtat. 5 Star without a doubt. Price high but worth every Euro. We ate there Sunday lunch and Wednesday dinner. Wow."

"Great location! I was on the 4th floor with no lift but they helped carry everything! Cute tiny little terrace in our room and nice shared terrace on 2 floors! Staff was excellent!! Downfall; bad smell in my room like sauerkraut! Staff acknowledged it and made it better. I booked this room for the AC but the buttons were taped over and there was plastic placed over the vents so I couldn’t use it! I will ask for compensation for this!"

"Communication was outstanding. Assisting with setting up the airport transfer including luggage assistance from the City Gate to the hotel was exceptional. All aspects of our stay were excellent. It is important to note that there is no space to have open suitcases so you need to plan for that. Need to place on bed while accessing what you need. That would have been a more significant issue for us if we were staying 3 or more nights - but not for 1 or 2."

"The apartment was amazing. High ceilings, lots of space, very clean and well equipped. The apartment is also bang in the centre of the old town which made it easy to get around.
Hosts were very fast at responding as we had some issues with hot water but they replied to us quickly to help fix it.
However there are few things to note if you're thinking of booking this apartment:
The apartment is above a takeaway shop and lots of bars and restaurants so it is LOUD until about 11pm - midnight...
