The bedrooms are a nice size; the restaurant and bar is very convenient for a quick bite before venturing out into a great neighborhood.

Good location, but because we wanted a family room we had one with a disabled toilet which wasn't great. The room needed the skylight because the light from the windows was limited and the broken blind didn't help.

They have maybe 8 parking spots. If there are no parking spaces left, you are left to find a street spot or pay for ramp parking. When booking a property that says it has parking, I would assume it would guarantee parking for guests (without incurring additional costs). Also, the music in the bar was blasting until 2:30am. If you are looking to get a good night of sleep, do NOT stay here.

A very enjoyable stay overnight. Spacious double room. Well heated. All the facilities available, e.g. tea/coffee etc. Several bars in the building. Breakfast in the morning was good and plenty of choice. Staff ordered a cab the previous evening to take us to airport at 09.30 on Mon. a.m. So convenient to the airport. All the pluses for a good stay,

Mixed reviews regarding this hotel. Check in was smooth and early check in at two is great. Room is a nice size and modern enough. However there was a fake nail on the floor. Went for food and drinks in the pub downstairs. Food was nice and very reasonable prices. However at night the surround area is extremely noisy so keep that in mind. We were told during check in that check out was 12. This clearly wasn’t the case as he had someone pounding on our door at 11:15 asking us to hurry up. The housekeeping was quite rude here and we were planning on leaving anyway in the next few minutes. An 11am checkout would have been no problem however we were specifically told it was a 12 checkout. I explained this at the bar reception. There wasn’t any apologies about the confusion or anything. Left in quite a hurry after that.

The rooms are very nice, but the set up is odd. You checkin for the hotel at the bar. I had to wait for quite awhile for someone to acknowledge me so i could check in. And when they mention limited parking, they mean it. There are about 6 parking spots jn front of of the hotel/pub and its a VERY big and very busy pub. Parking is basically not going to happen at the hotel. There is street parking but you can't park there all night. Having said that, the bed was very comfortable and our room was very quite.

Fabulous place to stay
From the moment we arrived, from check in to check out it was excellent the rooms are fab and the food is great the best hotel I’ve stayed in, in a long time, all the staff were amazing, highly recommend this hotel, brilliant shopping centre straight across the road. Will definitely be back

Room was very modern & comfortable; the only downside was that the remote control was MIA so I was unable to watch the massive TV. The restaurant & Bar is great, good vibe, friendly staff, and the cheapest food & drink prices I’ve seen in years.

Room photos are completely wrong
The photos for the rooms are not accurate and misleading. I booked a "Double or Twin Room" and expected to get what was pictured (windows, brick walls, sofa, etc). Instead I got a room with no windows (yes a skylight) and no sofa or exposed brick. The room was small and did not have good ventilation. A second point of disappointment was the service. This is not a normal hotel. It is a weatherspoons pub with a few rooms upstairs. I was expecting a check in desk or reception. Instead, I had to ask someone at the bar and they checked me in. And after I complained that the room did not match the photo, a worker just walked away from me. The staff are there more concerned about the restaurant customers than the hotel guests. The parking lot is tiny and when I pulled up, there were no spaces available. I had to double park and block a lot of people until the staff found someone who was leaving. The positives is that there is a weatherspoons downstairs! So it is super easy to get food/drinks, and even an early morning breakfast (7am). It is also right across the street from the Pavilions Shopping Centre, so anything you need is there. Overall, even though the facility seemed pretty new, it was a bad first impression for check in/staff and a complete let down in terms of what was promised in the room description/photos. I know they can do better.

Food was horrendous. I got a steak and it was full of grizzle. I said it to the server and he just said apologies for that and he took it away. There was 3/4 of the steak left in the plate.

The historic feel inside with the charms of the old world married with the modern decor/conveniences was done really well. The feel is upscale cozy and safe. The customer service we received upon arrival and departure was wonderful: we had very heavy bags and my mother has a bad hip and knee. We were helped with them (the man carried two bags for us the whole walk) through a big gate into the beer gardens and then through to a lift to get them up to our rooms and then a different man helped us down with them when we left too, insisting to carry them all the way to our car and then load all the bags in for us. Most helpful! But when dining for dinner the first night the noise was up in the bar and dining area and we had a hard time understanding the young waiter (we’re from America) and communicating with him seemed to upset him. He was then slightly rude and corrected my mother about ketchup saying that in Ireland they call it “red sauce” when we asked for ketchup… The next morning in explaining where we could get condiments the waitress called it “ketchup” and we felt then that that young man the night before was just a bit prejudiced, perhaps. Did not like that much. But I think this was a fluke, not reflective of the establishment.

The hotel is pretty far away from Dublin City Center, so commuting daily could get costly. Staff at the bar/restaurant never seem to be available when you need them, so you could find yourself just standing at the bar for 10-15 minutes. The alcoholic beverages are watered down and there’s a tiny elevator that moves at the speed of a sloth that takes you from the lobby to the guest rooms. Guest rooms are nicely sized and have a lot of charm. There are plenty of electrical outlets and usb ports throughout the room for all of your electronics. This hotel offers free Wi-Fi and a decent selection of television channels. There is a shopping center just across the street with everything you need and plenty of restaurants nearby. The worst part of this experience was the housekeeping staff. They were lazy and often neglected to clean our room, even when we specifically requested to have beds made. They never replaced our coffee, cream, and sugar and had to be prompted to give us clean mugs. The only exception is the housekeeper named Ger who was EXCELLENT. She was very nice and cleaned our room exceptionally well with attention to detail. Lobby staff/security were also nice and professional. It was primarily the housekeeping staff who need customer service training.

Room had a very strange odor, thought it would disappear after we aired it out a bit, but didn’t. Very hot and unable to open windows or use the air conditioning. Had to ask for two additional towels even though they knew booking was for three people. Sofa bed unmade, room keys had to be recalibrate, and lights in the entire room had to be used with the room keys. Initial booking was horrendous which should have been an omen as to what was to come. Feel half of the total cost should be refunded. Thank goodness the shower was decent after a very long restless night!

10 minutes cab ride from the airport this is a great pub with rooms above, in the centre of Swords. My en-suite room was well-equipped with air-con, tv, tea & coffee etc., furnished to a good standard and very comfortable. Staff were lovely and there were loads of good value options for breakfast.

A nice historic property on the main street. Room was great, large, with comfortable bed and a closable sky light which was a nice option. Food service style a bit strange and our server was not good at all. Young guy who needs a new attitude. Food was average.

The building was amazing and the history. The bathroom was quaint and wheel chair accessible. We were a bit uncomfortable with the opening left on the shower rod with no shower curtain, which was right across from a big bathroom mirror. We had read too many horror stories about mirrors. But we would go back. Centrally located by shopping, within walking distance, and different restaurants. And not far to Dublin.

Last night in Ireland.
Decided to stay here on the last night of our trip because it was close to Dublin airport. Really enjoyed this place, their bar and restaurant and the proximity to walking to about anywhere. Staff was friendly and helpful. The room was very comfortable and quiet.

Nice Stay with Air Conditioning
We enjoyed our stay here. Although we arrived early, they offered to hold our luggage while we walked around the town and grabbed some lunch. We were very appreciative of the rare A/C that this hotel offered, especially since we arrived during a heatwave in Dublin. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The location is within walking distance of many shopping venues, take aways, and pubs. It's a short taxi ride into downtown Dublin, 20-30 minutes depending on the time of day.
