I stayed one night at the Roxford Lodge Hotel as I was passing through Dublin on my way to Wales. My room was narrow but clean and well-designed, with a bathroom nearly as big. The staff were friendly and helpful, and I found excellent restaurants within a few blocks.
Only two complaints. First, my room was on the lower level, next to the parking lot. There was a lot of noise from the cleaning staff in the afternoon, when I was trying to sleep after flying all night. I had to keep the windows shut, which made it stuffy. Second, the lights and climate control system depended on your keeping your room key in a special socket. I had to remove it at night to turn out the lights, which meant no A/C or even fan on a warm night.
