This is a really good location and very central
The room was lovely and clean
The only real drawback was the music from the nightclub but it was expected so it wasn't a surprise, as such!

1st room not good but very grateful for getting a better room. Bit noisy with nightclub nearby otherwise ok
The hotel staff were poor and had a bad attitude, the hot water for the bath or shower didnt work properly. Was'nt clearly listed that there was a nightclub below the hotel so unable to sleep due to noise until 3am. The only thing I can say positively is it was in an excellent location.
Definitely a hotel to aviod
It was a great stay! Even on a Saturday with the noise outside from when the club closed. My daughter and mother slept through the night. I woke for a little bit but fell right back asleep. They let us check In early which was appreciated and the front desk let us borrow an adapter for our phones because we had no eros to purchase one only we only had our cards. Cleaning crew helped us with our bags to get downstairs. Pubs and restaurants very close by. Would stay here again
The staff were wonderful; they let me into my room early and were very accommodating. The hotel is very convenient for walking to museums, restaurants, Trinity College, etc. The room was small and plan but clean, and the bed was very comfortable. There is a discotheque on the main floor, and on Saturday night it was pretty loud (though not on a weeknight). I would recommend this hotel!
The hotel is next to a street with every type of food. St stephens green is right down the street and st patricks cathedral is a little bit further but easy walk.
Breakfast at the hotel was disappointing and over priced for fruit amd cereal.
The noise from the night club didnt bother me. Ear plugs in the room was a nice touch.
Front desk staff gave a map w some general directions which helped.
Building is older but clean.
The hotel has great character with lovely big rooms. The location is excellent close to Harcourt Luas stop and it’s a 20 min walk to temple bar. The staff were very helpful and friendly and being above the nightclub didn’t bother us and we are in our 50’s.

The room was great and in a good overall location with excellent walkability. Thats the good. Now for the rest…
The night clubs below as well as next door mean there is no such thing as a quiet place to sleep. It’s LOUD. Loud music and even louder people on the streets and below your window. The hotel provides ear plugs in the room and you are going to need them. That alone tells you pretty much all you need to know.
Very nice and spacious room, was very clean as well. Windows were nice as they opened all the way to let the fresh air in. The hotel is on a street with tons of other hotels so it’s mainly just a place to stay type of neighborhood in Dublin. The club wasn’t extremely loud but I could definitely hear the people and music from my room and it kept me up for awhile because I’m not great at falling asleep. The pillows are not soft so maybe try requesting an extra in advance. Otherwise, a great stay for a great price.
Great location for sightseeing and restaurants within walking distance. The hotel has a club on the ground level, which can be loud depending on where your room is located. Lack of a mini-fridge was a drawback. Lastly, the double room for 2 adults is quite small, the bedpost for one of the beds was almost touching the wall making it difficult to move within the room.

Disliked: Amenities
Location is good and very convenient to go around the city. However the beds had very old mattresses and were extremely uncomfortable and at night the hotel is really loud. It’s not an area of pubs but the hotel has some type night club I wasn’t aware of when booking and the loud music goes on all night and the sound travels that it feels the party is going inside your room. Good location but impossible to get any rest.
Anyone considering staying here needs to know there's a discoteque in the building. When I was there the party didn't stop until 4 AM. It VERY much affected my trip as I had great difficulty staying awake for why I made the trip after only 3 hours sleep. However, the hotel leaves complimentary ear plugs in the room. So, its not all bad.
I went to this hotel to relax and shower before heading to a conference. It was so loud it was hard to sleep. There’s a club underneath. An alarm went off during the night and woke me up too. The shower was cold. I turned up the heat to full and it wouldn’t warm up. The staff were polite and the location is good.
The hotel room was updated and in good condition. I liked everything about the property and staff except its fatal flaw which I can’t see being resolved.
There is a nightclub associated with the hotel and the noise on the street didn’t stop until 3 AM on Thursday and 3:30 on Friday night. They provide earplugs in each room but they can’t do anything to really mitigate the noise. The nightly nightclub noise is the problem so be forewarned if you decide to stay here.

Checking in went fine except for the girl forgetting to mention that although my room was on the 3rd floor, I had to take the elevator to 1st floor, walk some corridors to a next building and there climb the stairs to the 3rd floor (no elevator). At first I wondered why the hotel had supplied earplugs… this became clear at night - my room was overlooking the street which would be full of noisy nightclub-visitors & cars. I was glad that I was not on a lower floor. If you’re out all day like me, the hotel is fine and good location. If you want a quiet sleep, dont go there.
False advertising, hotel description is misleading
False advertising - the hotel description is a fraud
Mainly negative comments:-
This hotel is listed on HOTELS.COM under false advertising as they do not disclose anywhere that they have a club open DAILY and until late with very LOUD MUSIC that permeates the entire hotel, no escaping it.
The reception area turns into a coat check during club operating hours.
The belligerent attitude of the receptionist was not very welcoming and made us quite uncomfortable. Flavia, the person who attended us, insisted a message had been sent after booking informing of the club, and that I was wrong when I said I had not received any such message from the hotel ! This with my phone to hand looking for the said message which was never received. The only messages received from the hotel were to book taxi service.
Frankly if I had received a message informing me of the club after booking a non-refundable rate, I would have been even more unhappy.
This is not how you manage a quality hotel. Clearly they only care for revenue and not the comfort of their hotel guests.
I highly recommend this property BE REMOVED FROM EXPEDIA and HOTELS.COM for false advertising.
Room 204 was tiny and in need of renovation but the bed was comfortable. The room cleaners were nice.
Our stay was lovely--the only downside to the Jackson Court is the night club in the basement, which could be a deterrent to some...the beat of the music can be heard from 10:00 pm until 2:30--but it is of a very low level, and did not stop us from sleeping. The location is fantastic and the staff is extremely helpful.
