The property is close to the beach weed some type of walking around 10 minutes or 15 minutes walking. He has a nightclub in the first floor but you can go to blah blah which is the best place to dance.

We've stayed at this hotel previously so booked a night last month however have noticed that the property needs some attention. We were very grateful for the upgrade to a higher floor with stunning marina views :0)

Great hotel and well located. Was good value as it is 5 minutes walk to metro and only 10-12 minutes to Jbr. You can also take a nice walk around the marina at the back of the hotel (3 minutes), and walk to one of the restaurants there viewing all of the yaughts. The shower temperature gets hot very quickly, but adjusting it to right and waiting a bit whilst the temperature normalises works fine. Only other minor complaint is that I couldn’t turn bedside lights off with removing the key card from power slot. But I’m still impressed with hotel for great location and value

Ok, but better to find something else if you can
Hotel was clean, bed was comfortable, pillows a little hard. The main issue was that the temperature of the water in the shower ranged up and down on a constant basis. I checked with my colleague staying on another floor and he had the same issue, so it seemed to be hotel-wide. Breakfast wasn't the best either. Hotel is OK but its in desperate need of a re-furb.

terrible service and run down hotel. AVOID
service was terrible i did not get a room until 6pm and i was told for nearly 2 hours in 5 mins you will have a room. the water in the hotel is also brown and black. the hotel is run down and customer service levels are 0. The reception staff do not care and just leave you standing there while they talk to their friends.

Good stay at Marina Byblos
Wonderful hotel. Staff was very helpful, knowledgeable and friendly, especially at front desk and the sky bar. Location is great, a short walk to the marina or to the metro in the other direction. I particularly enjoy the atmosphere of the pool and sky bar. Of course my stay was early March so temps were comfortable.

Our stay
We have stayed here before as excellent price for our 9 night stay and a good location in the marina. This time our room was not as good, the over head shower did not work! The room service each day the minimum was done ie one day no towels changed and did not empty bins and refill the tea coffee other day was fine?? Not enough umbrellas around the pool only three! Ask manager why and he said that’s all the have but how can they expect you to sit around a pool when it is 38 degree with no shade ? Bed sheet ripped.

WORST HOTEL EVER!
If you want to spend in the worst hotel in your life and also spend the worst nights of your life, this hotel is a good choice. I couldn’t sleep not even one hour due to to the club noise, and party people in the hotel. The staff was very rude, no solutions were given, and they were making fun of the situation. This hotel is the worst one i have ever tried, and I will definitely not stay there again, or in any other byblos around the world. TERRIBLE

Overall pretty good
Overall, I really enjoyed my stay. The thing is though, there are indeed 3-4 clubs in the hotel itself which are loud and play music all night. This means that some guests would have noisy rooms. At first I had a noisy room on the forth floor and in the night I was woken up by drunk guests yelling at each other. I asked to change my room and the second one was fantastic. It was quiet and spacious with lovely view over the marina. So, if you are sensitive to noise, def ask for a quiet room. The personnel seemed chaotic on the phone but once I was there in person, they were very helpful.

The excellent service received by Dilip and most of his team was excellent, beyond standard customer service. A few in particular have been particularly helpful when assistance was requested.This is the sort of service received at 5 star hotels.

Worst hotel I have ever stayed at . The staff are beyond rude & made our stay difficult to enjoy. They behave like security guards not hotel staff . I asked for ice bought to our room & then was told I would have to pay, strange for ice but ok . They wouldn’t let me sign for it & I had to pay $4 for ice in cash when it was delivered. Room keys didn’t work for the first 4 days & we had to get someone to open our door each time . No hot water for the first 2 days . Then we discovered you have to turn the hot water on 15 minutes before you want a shower . Overall a terrible experience with the worst staff I have come across in the hotel industry.

Terrible horrible and ridiculous hotel
Where do I start? Do not go here, avoid this at all costs. The service, the food, the attitude of the staff. The owners are rude and slimy, jumping on anything that moves. The food is terrible, the service is slow and the place smells. Service: Extremely poor front office staff and services. Staff gets an excuse not to give you the expected service to guests, very unacceptable. They are out of hospitality no welcome, very rude and they keep us 3 hours hour next to reception because they couldn't find our booking. Rooms: The light of the rooms is very poor. The pillows are very uncomfortable. Rooms are smelly, looks old, and no maintenance at all. They have very noisy bars on the first floor. I couldn’t sleep on the 7th floor. The sound was with deep low bass. You can feel it with all your body when try to feel in sleep. Room amenities not working; kettle replaced trice, lamps are blinking, electricity tripped twice, shower broken, a/c not cooling and rumbling motor sound vibrating to your headboard which shakes you freakin till kingdom come. Towels were smelling bad. Water in the shower was ridiculously weak and cold or extremely hot. As a short of words; Terrible horrible and ridiculous hotel. I do not recommend it at all

The most terrible experience of my life.

Front desk staff was terribly uninformed about the hotel's amenities. Sad. Also disappointed that hotel cannot provide power conversion adapters for electric/electronic devices. Notified on arrival of maintenance problem causing bath water to run yellow-brownish color. This is unacceptable. Hotel management NEEDS to notify potential guests BEFORE booking of such a revolting disgusting problem. That said, this older hotel was clean and well-maintained otherwise. Room comfort was good, but lacks modern fittings like USB connections. Spa service was a bright spot. Tai Chi Spa has a good staff. Lots of dining options.
