I have benn to almost all 200 countries over 50 years and solo hitchhiked across Asia and Africa and North America coast to coast and stayed in thousands of hotels from 5 star to one night stand motels. And I have built many different businesses including in consumer services and real estate and properties I a number of countries … richest to least developed ones. This is a very well run hotel in every way. Staff, detail, quality, value .. for what its niche is, it was impeccable. I have never bothered to write an actual review of any hotel I have ever stayed at (even if they had been awful) before this. Well done. Basically perfect.

Good for affordable stay, but needs improving

Positives: great selection of affordable food and vegan / veg options / friendly staff, clean room sand the hotel Improvements: no ventilation in a bathroom, no option to open a window ajar, so A/C is the only option / there are 2 hair driers for the whole hotel available at the reception. no mini fridges / the iron room has a rusty iron that damaged my formal shirt, the location seems convenient at first glance, but to get to Dubai - you have to do a massive detour (junction 13), as you are not allowed to enter the Jebel Ali zone without a permit.

Disappointed

My trip wasn’t amazing. Poor customer relations. The hot water system was terrible. It couldn’t maintain a consistent temperature. It was either too hot or cold and it kept on shifting from too hot to cold and back to too hot. My check in experience was terrible as well. I had requested for change of date which was communicated by hotel.com but the hotel insisted on charging me for a night I didn’t stay.

Easy Hotel Jebel Ali Dubai

I paid a visit to Dubai in March 2022 mainly for the World Expo. Since the Expo site was not near the city centre, the room rate of this hotel was already the most affordable bargain for tourists traveling on budget. It took 15 minutes to the nearest UAE Exchange Metro Station and another 30 minutes to the Expo site, but there was no shelter along the way to the metro station and the road was rough because it was a construction site. Since that area has not been fully developed, don’t expect any nearby eateries or amenities. Yet, it is still a hotel and the front desk staff could assist you with your issues. You could opt for early check in by paying an acceptable extra cost depending on the room availability. It is a typical hotel room and mine was one with a window (it seems that there are rooms without any windows), but there wasn’t any fridge, kettle nor a shower area which could prevent water spills. You get what you paid.

Not a great place

Very, very basic rooms - no kettle, hair dryer, etc. The walls are very, very thin so you can hear absolutely everything. Everything in the room is very old and not updated - the wall to the bathroom is glass so basically just a solid curtain between the toilet and the bed. I did not take a shower as it made me feel icky. Location is not great - it's a short drive to the World Expo but otherwise in an industrial zone with nothing around. We got stuck here because plans fell through and needed something last minute for one night. If that's not your case I strongly suggest finding something in Bur Dubai - the prices are similar and at least you'll be in Dubai proper.

Disappointing Outcome from this Hotel

The shower water never got to warmer than 30 deg C? The BBC channel had no sound The internet signal was poor and intermittent Main issue: The walk-in rate was cheaper that I paid through Hotel.com. Also after the second night I should have just cancelled and booked at the walk-in rate

The stay was good and comfortable. The only issue is there is no nearby any shop or grocery available in the walking distance. Also sufficient signages for hotel entry not provided. It is difficult for new users who use googlemap to reach the hotel. I found too much difficulty and visited about 3 JAFZA gates but all said hotel is outside JAFZA. Then i called the reception and she guided me. Please make sufficient sign boards nearby Gate-4 1B exit and also after that. The existing sign board near gate is very small and cannot be read while drive. Rest all things are ok and excellent.
