They woke me up at 3am by calling repeatedly. Apparently they made an error on their end and gave me the wrong room, and then decided that 3am was the time to call me to try to figure this out.
This had a big impact on my night and the following day, so I asked them to extend my stay for free. They didn't respond to my query for two days (they could have replied to my email or left messages on my hotel phone, but did not), and when they finally did respond, they said they weren't able to do anything to make up for my trouble --- except for allowing me to keep the suite I was assigned.
So, OK... The way you're trying to make up for waking me up at 3am and ruining my day is in not forcing me to pack up and leave the room that you assigned me?
And then the manager on duty, Waseem, tried to blame me, telling me that I should have gone back to the front desk after I was assigned the wrong room --- as if I know the hotel well enough to be able to know one room from another? And as if it would be my role as a customer to question the room I was given?
Impressively bad service - so bad it comes back around to almost being funny. I would definitely not recommend staying here.
