Nice Short Stay
I really enjoyed my stay at the ibis budget Dresden City. The hotel was only a few minutes walk to the main Christmas market. I found the staff friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable and clean. I would recommend staying here on a trip to Dresden.

Located near great shopping and dining, and not far at all from major city attractions. Room was quiet, but got lucky it was in the back away from street, so make sure to ask for that. My son's room was a bit more noisier. Breakfast was a bit below average, I had both better, but also worse at various Ibis in Europe.

We chose this hotel purely for the proximity to the Christmas market. It was a less than 5 minute walk there which was awesome! There is a lot of restaurants close by and it's literally attached to a mall if you need anything. Street was a little noisy but we got a room facing the courtyard and didn't hear anything. Tram station literally in front of the hotel if you plan to use public transport as well. Room is quite small and the sink is tiny and literally right next to the bed along with the shower so that would be weird if you were staying with someone because the only thing that was separate was the toilet. Overall the location can't be beat but the bathroom situation left a little to be desired. If you are going to the christmas market though...I don't think there is a hotel closer so it was worth it for us

Great location literally next door to a shopping mall. With in walking distance to most of the major sights in Dresden. Easy access for people with mobility issues such as myself. Staff was courteous and helpful with answering questions.

Check in was one of the worst, the lady at the check in was unfriendly very rude The hotel is very basic, I have been in several hotels with same price range but way better quality

The hotel is centrally located, close to the city's attractions. The room is clean and has street view. The air conditioner works well. The free WiFi is very good. The shower and the washbasin are in the room and not in the bathroom, which is quite strange. There is no wardrobe in the room but only few hangers. A bunk bed is attached to the bed.

Insgesamt war der Aufenthalt im Hotel gut. Sauber, bei geschlossenem Fenster ruhig und modern, neuwertig eingerichtet. Ich hätte mir einen Lüfter im WC und leiser schließende Türen gewünscht. Ebenfalls eine bessere Ausschilderung bezüglich der max. Personenanzahl in den Aufzügen, teilweise waren wir zu viert - sehr unangenehm und unmöglich genügend Abstand zu halten.

Small, bright, clean, modern room. Very clever and efficient arrangement of everything. Location right at the edge of restored old town. Everything within easy walking distance. Restaurants and shopping close by. Nice breakfast in-house.

An excellent budget hotel in the centre of Dresden. The breakfast had a good selection iof items and was well price at 7.50 euros (June 2018). The rooms were clean and comfortable and I would recommend it to the money conscious traveller.

The location is consider good. Walking distance to most of the attractions. You can also rent bike from them which is chargeable at per day rate. Helpful reception staff. The room size is considered decent me (solo female) and the room is clean. But as many others have mentioned too, the shower cubicle is weird, in the middle of the room and sort. Otherwise, all is good
