"It is a lovely hotel. The room was new and well-appointed with some of the old bank building charm. It's upscale while being quaint and comfortable. We were on the 4th floor. The room had amazing upper windows. Very cool!
The staff was lovely. Very accommodating and friendly. The location is ideal, right in the middle of town. We were very happy to stumble upon the Promissory Hotel!"

"The rooms and lobby were clean and relatively well-maintained. We didn't have the opportunity to use the pool or gym, but we enjoyed the breakfast each morning and the staff did a nice job keeping everything clean and stocked. The hotel was a very short drive from the main road, which has plenty of of restaurants and retail areas. I would stay here again the next time I'm in the area."

"Our main reason for choosing this property was it had an indoor pool. When we checked in, we were told the pool was not working and they didn’t know when it would be back in working order. This should be posted on their website.
Another issue is that when I asked for a receipt at check out the young man did not seemed pleased. He was not very receptive at all to questions or acted as if he wanted to be there.
My husband did appreciate the breakfast."
