"I've been staying at El Rancho Delores during my trips for business and leisure for the past 20 years. The motel is one of the historic properties in 29 Palms and has been kept in excellent condition. Rooms are clean and comfortable. The pool, while unheated, is open and the temperature is perfect for swimming in the summer months. Located at the edge of the downtown area, the motel is within convenient walking distance to several restaurants and the Joshua Tree National Park's and City's Visitor Centers. If you're looking for a fancy resort with all of the bells and whistles--this isn't it. However, if you want a peaceful, relaxing stay that has an incredible view of the mountains, this is the place."

"The Mineral Pool felt great. Nice clean room with big comfy beds. Luggage cart available that helped alot for us 60 year olds. Two Jacuzzis to relax. There is a restaurant on site but we didn't get a chance to try it. Check in and check out was simple. Deposit refunded timely, "
