Old Downton Lodge Situated on the bend in the lane. The Old Downton Lodge restaurant and hotel now appears to be closed - perhaps part of the decline in the Ludlow area as an 'in' gourmet location.

A pleasant rural setting.
The local church is lovely and worth a visit. Good walks on Offa's Dyke's path. The property would suit a book fanatic as the place is full of expensive first edition copies and cobwebs! Barking dogs at night from a nearby property kept us awake. Otherwise ok.
