It was so unique to have stayed in a 400 years old cottage/villa that was renovated with everything you needed and more. It was also a museum with artifacts from many years ago, very special! "Fabulous hotel - almost Belmond but not quite. Rooms are excellent (must comfortable beds with down pillows). Breakfast is superb. Pool service a bit sporadic but overall the staff were wonderful. "

"The hotel was in a remote area but had beautiful views and was worth the effort. The swimming pool was a welcome addition as it was very hot when we arrived. The dinner and breakfast were good. There seemed to be a problem with the doors to the rooms which people kept banging to get them to close. Added to that someone managed to open our door when we were almost asleep and the hotel dog ran into our room. Very disconcerting and not condusive to a good nights sleep."
