"The woman I encountered when I first arrived was very rude. I was about 45 minutes early for check-in. No one was at the desk but I could hear someone behind the wall talking. She walked out, said can I help you. I told her I was a bit early for check-in and she told me that I had to wait because I had a king room. Waiting was fine but when I went to ask her where I could go nearby for food she cut me off and told me I could sit in the lobby. The lifeguard was very nice as were the cleaning...

"We booked this accommodation as it was close to a venue we were attending. There was lots of on street parking. This is a gorgeous, grand old home. Note, Wilson House sits near a busy street. However, once inside, due to triple glazed windows, you will not hear the street noise at all! Also, be aware, rooms are on the 2nd-4th floor and there is no elevator. Beds were comfortable and bathrooms were modern. Breakfast was very good. The owners were a pleasure to talk with."

"Ok for a quick visit but wouldn't recommend for anything beyond a weekend stay. Please be aware that people do not respect the non-smoking signs throughout the hotel. My room reeked of cigarette smoke and I had to keep the AC going to filter out the smell. Mu entire side of the hotel was non-smoking. Also I wouldn't recommend bringing kids there. "Everything was good with a few notable exceptions. Apparently the property is run by an accountant and not a hotelier. In the restaurant there was one server on duty and he was also the bartender and had to take care of the bar, the restaurant and the outside seating area. Way too much! And the food was very average. In the room the amenities were never refilled such as coffee and I was there for 10 days. Also, the toilet paper was single ply! Holy Moly! Next time I'll bring my own! I think...

"Room was lean and spacious for just one person. Dishwasher,full size fridge and microwave,nice shower,great bed, desk, pullout sofa and ottoman. I was gone most of the day, didn't use the gym or swimming pool, but room was very nice and clean, plenty of towels, very quiet at night, slept great."
