"Very good value. Great place to stay while in Truckee. The bed was comfortable and the room was a good size. Breakfast was nice and the dining area was inviting and clean. Would stay here again!"

"The hotel is located in close proximity to the interstate. I requested a front room away from the highway and was impressed at how quiet it was. I could not hear any traffic. The continental breakfast was very nice and well stocked."

"It is a nice property, room was nice, good bed, clean nice bathroom. There is $20 parking charge per night. Considering it is outside of Truckee I was surprised they would charge for the parking as there is hardly anything around."

"I’ve been going to best Western few times. I am really liking to stay more. This time I was told that we will have housekeeping services if we put cleaning signs before 8am and we did. we stayed two nights and three families but stuff or Manager didn’t bother to check that our room is clean and we have to use same bed sheets, and everything two days in a row. that was unfortunate."

"Heated pool and hot tub were nice with decent bar. Spa was good. Restaurant was amazing! Parking was unexpected expense and far from resort. Bed was uncomfortable. Room phone was broken. Drinks were expensive. Spa was expensive. Couldn't get a golf T time. Overall 4/5 stars would stay again and definitely would go to the restaurant again."

"I’m sorry to say that our experience was very disappointing. The rooms were not clean, and we actually asked to be moved from our first room because of large stains on the carpet. Unfortunately, the second room wasn’t much better. The next day, we saw that they were cleaning the carpets in our original room. We couldn’t help but wonder why it took a guest complaint for this to happen. The stains were large and obvious and should have been addressed before the room was ever given to a guest. The...

"Almost perfect...I was 90 degrees when we got there and only then that we found out the entire building doesn't have AC. Not because it wasn't working, but it was never equipped with one. Having to carry all of our stuff using the stairs since there were no elevators was fine too. That AC is a must!"
