There were no communications with host, we essentially arrived at the remote property with no instructions and found the premises unlocked and we just made ourselves at home, after re-checking several times we were at the correct spot. For context, we traveled here in September - which is off season! Nearest grocery store was a 40min drive - we met our host along the winding road to the store - he greeted us with fresh eggs! "This an excellent resort… great location, good food, lovely staff… always helpful. … and facilities are spot on. However … two things to consider: 1) it is dog friendly, with rules to keep dogs on leads and in a separate part of the restaurant. However, it is not policed, and dog owners consistently had dogs on long leads ( I tripped over a lead!) , or some had no leads. In addition we had a neighbor leaving her barking dog… regularly… in her room. 2) the bathrooms areas are modern, but with inadequate privacy…frosted glass all round and no lock on the door. So .. space for improvement"
