"We stayed at the Vista for 2 night and loved it. It was quaint, clean, and the hotel staff were very helpful and friendly. It had a little patio out back with views of the beach. Some of the other rooms had balconies. The had free, very basic, breakfast outside under a tent every morning. Coffee, juice, fruit, hard boiled eggs, yogurt, croissants,. "Great, safe hotel with parking for guests. Beautiful views with quality restaurant on site. When breakfast is available it is excellent. Room was clean with great beds (slept like a rock). Great view of the boats. The only 4 star part of the property is the distance to walk to downtown. Need to drive or Uber. To far to walk but they can't help that. Would stay again for sure! "

"What a lovely place. The room was beautiful and well equipped. Best mattress I ever slept in! The property is well maintained, walkable to restaurants, stores and the beach. The staff is friendly and everything was perfect! I'd live there if I could."

"The room had amazing features and was larger than expected. Great tv options, amazing linens, and a spa shower. Plenty of high quality shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and lotion. The only improvement would be to add a small supply of beach chairs to use and an 11am check out time instead of 10 am. But overall 10/10. "

"Very clean accommodations, comfortable king bed, with great water views. Step from room to large deck overlooking center beach and easy walking distance to restaurants and shopping at Bearskin Neck. While Rockport is a destination resort town, it becomes very quiet in the evening but close to Gloucester where many entertainment venues are available. "
