"We had a last minute trip to kalymnos staying at Alkyonis apartments hosted by the lovely Evi who in spite of flight delays kept well In touch with us by email as well as text message. The warmest welcome greeted us on our arrival and Evi's kindness and helpful manner continued all week. The apartments are perfect for a comfortable stay in a beautiful quiet relaxing area of the island. We have loved staying so much that we are already planning our return next year. "We, two adults and two young children, had a great stay at Anixis Hotel. The small kitchen was good to have, so you could cook something if you didn't feel like eating out with two young kids. The staff where all very helpful and kind and came to check on us if everything was ok once we had checked into our apartment. The kids even received some gifts/toys from the hotel manager on the day of check out. It was a very good stay. The location was also good -walking distance 5 mins to the beach....

"Excellent hotel. Safe & quiet. Needs tissue box. Needs exhaust fan for bathroom rather than just the window. Perfume in the room is too strong and not needed. Fix the reading light by glass door. Disposable slippers needed as bathroom floor gets very wet and room floor is cold. Bottled water in the room should be provided. "

"Close to the old walled city"

"This was easily the best hotel we stayed in during our trip around the island. The apartment was spotless, well appointed and in an excellent location for the wineries and local restaurants. The breakfast was epic and the staff were extremely polite and friendly, especially the super sweet Nectaria. Don't hesitate to book. "

"Semplice ma in buona posizione"

"We had an incredible stay. Toula and Debi took very good care of us. They put heaters in our room because it was cold when we stayed in January. Toula arranged for transfers to and from airport and gave excellent restaurant recommendations. Debi made us a lovely breakfast each morning. Late evening check in was no problem. The quadruple room provided plenty of space. The hotel captures the vibe of the Old City. Great location to explore the Old City. We look forward to coming back."

"An absolutely delightful couple of days staying at the Avalon. Can’t be beat location next to the Street of the Knights and Grand Palace. Staff well all overwhelmingly kind, welcoming and friendly. Sorry to say good bye. Highly recommended. "
