The resort is really nice. Staff is welcoming, helpful, friendly. Animations are great with a lot to do on the resort itself. The dining experience in all inclusive is very impressive. The food buffet is amazing and all very tasty with an immense variety of choices even for kids.

For a 5 star hotel, the rooms were not great. Water pressure in the shower was terrible and they put me in a room that was as far as possible from reception. It made no sense, considering the very few people staying at the hotel. The first receptionist had terrible customer service. When I returned at night after a long day of touring, the fellow at reception was on his phone and barely acknowledged me, even after I had to walk all the way back from my room because me key was not working. There were 2 other men at reception the next day, and they were friendly and responsive. Breakfast was ok and the staff seemed friendly. But the coffee machines were sub standard. If you are looking for a true 5 star experience, this is not it.

Nice property. Stayed during low season so many of the facilities weren’t really in use such as pool bar and beach bar but I imagine they’d be nice. Has a good indoor pool to help out during the colder months.

Really enjoyable family holiday

We were looking for a family friendly hotel to relax, enjoy pool and beach time, spacious and comfortable rooms, and discover a new destination. That’s exactly what we found with Djerba and Iberostar hotel. Hotel Staff was really friendly, kids pool fun and big, large main pool, and perfect indoor pool for colder days, beautiful setting and beach, lots of sport and kids animations like mini disco every night which our 5 and 8 yo boys loved. Food was very good and varied every day with local and international dishes. I recommend this hotel. We also took the time to explore Djerba in Taxi on our own (Djerba explore and crocodile farm 5min drive away, countryside Gedalla and Djerba hood, and Thursday market at Houmt souk). The taxis drivers are all friendly and honest.

I loved my experience at Iberostar Méhari Djerba. Delicious tasty food options for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Beautiful beach on the Mediterranean. Free beach umbrellas and chairs. Terrific animation team. Creative and interesting dance shows. Room was very clean. Fresh towels provided daily. Hajer did a fantastic job cleaning our room. She created different animals out of towels and our bed linens. We loved that! Crocodiles, swans and birds!! Thank you for your dedication and for making our room super clean and comfortable to stay in. My family and I would definitely come to your hotel again for our summer holidays.

Very nice hotel with lots of amenities, staff are friendly and the rooms are nice with everything you need. We went out of season (Feb) so many places outsidea of the hotel were closed/limited which was fine as the hotel has lots to do anyway. Areas outside of the hotel are very littered with building debris and general rubbish which is a shame as it is a gorgeous area. The food in the restaurant was great for breakfast, lunch and dinner options. The staff however were very easily bribed and swayed by any customers offering the best tips and gifts. Everyday, "the best" tables were reserved and certain guests had their sole attention which meant many tables were not clean and you often had to collect your own cutlery, water and had dirty plates around you. So if you want a general level of service, be prepared to tip! The cleaning staff were an absolute dream, very friendly and accommodating, leaving funny towel arrangements and even little sweets!

Nice resort in tourist area in the island . Clean , good food and nice amenities. It was raining the day we were there so we didn’t get to use the pool , just wish the indoor pool opened longer hour specially on rainy days. Room was clean and big with beautiful view . Stay was mediocre. Awful customer service. Flight was cancelled and I showed up a day late but they still charged us as well as the city tax for the extra day we were not there. Just not worth it when you’re traveling on a family vacation with a one year old to deal with situations like this and very inconsiderate staff.

Disappointed

What can I say I booked a stay of over a month but had to leave earlier then expected due to bad Wi-Fi ( well more accurately described an almost non existing Wi-Fi ) I work while away from home and in this day and age it’s unacceptable. Also be aware if you’re a non smoker or have asthma that most places will allow smoking, for me personally that was Offputting. Now the good points: room was clean , swimming pool during the winter season was heated ( indoor pool) Nice outdoor pools . Things that can be improved is food quality it’s is very repetitive and also train your staff to not flirt with costumers ( I had a couple of times waiters writing their phone numbers on napkins) thirdly improve the Wi-Fi .

Tres bon hotel ! Accueil parfait . Buffet tres superieur a la moyenne des hotels ! Quelques petits bemol parfois sur la precision des details de l’experience. Mais sinon tres bien
