"I stayed at the Four Seasons Tunisia with high expectations based on the Four Seasons brand and my experiences at their properties around the world. Unfortunately, the service did not meet that standard. After reading other reviews, I noticed that many of the negative comments are also related to service, which was consistent with my experience.
The property itself is beautiful—very elegant, clean, well-maintained, and luxurious. The pool area is especially nice and is one of the highlights of the hotel.
However, if you’re looking for a beach vacation, this may not be the best choice. The beach is disappointing: it is rocky, not particularly clean, and the water is not very appealing. It also requires a long walk to get to the beach, which takes away from the overall experience.
Overall, it was an acceptable stay because the property is attractive and well-kept, but the service needs significant improvement. The hotel would also benefit from cleaning and improving the beach area to better match the standards expected from a Four Seasons property."
"Overall, La Badira was a good stay and the hotel has a beautiful atmosphere, nice design, and a relaxing adults only concept.
The rooms were comfortable, the staff were polite, and the sea views were very nice. It’s definitely one of the better hotel options in Hammamet for a calm getaway.
However, one disappointing point was the pool temperature. At the end of May, the water was still very cold and unfortunately there was no heated pool available, so we couldn’t really enjoy the pool during our stay."
CALIMERA Delfino Beach Resort & Spa - All inclusive
10/10 Excellent
"I recently stayed at CALIMERA Delfino Beach Resort & Spa - All Inclusive, and overall I had a very good experience and would definitely come back.
The food was excellent, with a great variety every day, and the alcoholic beverages were also very good with many different options available. The entire resort was extremely clean and very well maintained. I stayed in a bungalow with a beautiful view of the Mediterranean beach, which made the stay even more enjoyable.
One thing that really stood out positively was the staff’s professionalism and responsiveness. During one of the meals, I filled out a survey mentioning that the pillows in my room were uncomfortable. The very next day, they were promptly replaced with much more comfortable ones, which I truly appreciated.
The staff overall were very friendly, respectful, and welcoming. I especially appreciated that their kindness did not feel fake or tip-driven, unlike experiences I’ve had in some other North African destinations such as Egypt, where staff can sometimes appear overly nice while expecting tips in return.
However, I do want to mention one negative aspect that unfortunately matched some reviews I had previously read. I had seen comments claiming that some staff members favored Italians and other Europeans while treating Arabs differently. Sadly, from my experience, there was some truth to that.
I look like an Arab, and speak English. Staff would not engage with me."
"Very chic place Between old city and new. Great, full breakfast. Excellent multilingual staff. 24/7 bar and concierge. Club attached was fun Friday night. Good facilities."
