I was disappointed when we arrived. Our crib in the room (really a pack and play) was sticky and dirty. They just turned around the bottom of the pack and play to hide the dirty and stained soft part for the baby to lay down. The room was unclean with stuff splattered on the walls, the desk chair was broken.
Staff were not friendly including the manager and usually seemed like an inconvenience.
The continental breakfast was terrible except the eggs and bacon. The donut tray was dripping off and almost looked as if the donuts were unthawing. Then the fruit also seemed frozen and did not taste right. When I went to talk to the staff that was working she said "Yeah, I wouldn't feed my children the breakfast." I was shocked and I asked to speak to the manager who was not going to be there until 5pm that night but we were going to be at the national park followed by the musical.
When we got in about 11pm-12pm. I spoke with the manager. She did apoligize and said she would see what she could do. She only took off $35 for our stay, said we booked the standard room which is why it didn't look like it did online. We were not offered a new crib/playpen. We also did not eat breakfast due to the sother staff instructing us to do so. With a family of 4 you know $35 would not feed a family. Highly disappointed and I guess there must be a newer side somewhere in the building that must match the pictures of a standard double queen room. The pool also had a scum on top of it. Yuk!
