"Amazing hotel, breakfast was lovely, staff are friendly, spa treatments were excellent only thing I would improve is the pool which should be heated. Thanks for a great stay x"
"The room was spotless, and the staff were very responsive. Check-in and check-out were smooth. However, the view out of the window was depressing: old, abandoned, multi-storied government quarters. I realize that the hotel cannot do anything about it.
Our room keys often failed, and they needed to be rekeyed. This was for multiple rooms that our family used. So it looks like a more general problem. While the staff was very responsive and addressed the issue immediately, this did cause us some inconvenience.
The location is unbeatable. Very close to the Gariahat and all the hustle and bustle. A lot of street food and street shopping options are within walking distance. The hopping malls are not far either. We used the hotel car for a few trips and airport pickup and dropoff. They are reasonably priced, and the drivers were great. Ubers were also very easy to get.
The restaurant is nice. We enjoyed the breakfast buffet. However, the Indian options for lunch and dinner were often too spicy. They may be intended for Indian guests, but they are too spicy for Western palates. This is unlike the other 5-star restaurants in India I experienced on the same trip. "
"The room and bathrooms were clean. The lobby is one of the best. The staff is friendly. The breakfast was awesome. Wish they had a better bar to hang out. "
