Affordable in Birmingham

All the convenience of a Birmingham address without the high price tag. Clean, comfortable rooms with a great breakfast buffet and decent gym (one of the few I've found with free weights and cardio machines in budget hotels).

Excellent value

Pleasant place to stay in a very attractive suburb of Detroit. Easy walking distance to shopping and restaurants.

unimpressive

Some of the staff were nice, but others just lazy. Found an empty beer bottle in the slow elevator. Some rooms face noisy Woodward Ave.

Maintenance not the best

Went three days without light in the bathroom even after repeated reports to the front desk. Did not receive any hand towels one day. Did not replace the empty tissue box. The physical appearance is deteriorating since the first time I stayed there in 2004.

Convenient Location

The location was ideal for me since all of my visits were in the Brimingham , Beverly Hills area. The hotel is within walking distance of downtown Birmingham. Easy driving to Beverly Hills, Royal Oak, and Southfield

Decent Hotel

This hotel was alright. Nothing too bad but nothing special either. Location is decent. Clean room but a couple of the vents were broken up. Service was adequate.

Great location and price!

I stayed here during a recent business trip and it was just fine for the night. The room was clean and had everything I needed. The location was just perfect. It's in walking distance to all the great shops and retaurants in downtown Birmingham. If you are looking for 5 star hotwel with tons of amentities, this obviously isn't the place but it was perfect for resting my head for the evening. The staff was great and the even offered breakfast in the morning.

Nice Place

I thought it was a nice place. It is hard to find because they have no sign so you might end up driving around for a while trying to find it.

Adequate Accomodations with Helpful Staff

Problems with my TV remote control. Always clean and plenty of towels. Staff generally very helpful and accomodating. Birmingham/ Bloomfield Hills central location to all the shopping and restaurants in that area. I have stayed there twice now and will be back again.

looks like cheap motel

hotel looks like a cheap motel...corridors are filthy and smelly..no swimming pool...customer service,however, was great and room service food was excellent...hotel close to shopping, movies, groceries and lots more. but will not recommend this hotel...
