Westmoreland Hotels with Early Check in

"The view was beautiful to the sea, property was filthy, we told we weren’t allowed coffee until after the all inclusive guests ate first, there was only 2 bath towels, we had to ask for towels, face cloths, and beach towels, it took two days to receive. It is a huge slip and trip hazard when it rains, as the “flooring is smooth broken tile”, and uneven ground. No hand rails for any of the stairs or ramps, inclines. The bar staff was not personable. There was one person that stands out that was amazing, when we did go to the restaurant, there was one server that learned our name and remembered it the first time, she was very personable. It’s within walking distance to many places, but walk at own risk, there is no sidewalks. The transit to sister resort is limited space so if you don’t get on the first be prepared to wait for the second one. It’s not right away. We took a taxi, however that can become very costly. It’s a very low key peaceful place, if you are looking for lively action, not the place I would suggest. If you have mobility or balance issues definitely don’t recommend."

"Excellent staff always helpful and pleasant. No safes in the room. Screen in bathroom window broken. cracks large enough in door frames that the light comes through. Very small fridge. Cleaning only every second day with one small garbage. Bring your own beach towel. Very little sun cover areas on the beach so need to go very early to get a spot. On departure at the airport I received a phone call that we could not have two single beds. I felt this was very disturbing. Upon arrival the staff moved a single bed with a queen bed in the room. Had to move the bed each time to walk around it. Found out from other clients they had booked the following day and had two beds. I cannot recommend at all. Beautiful beach but being disturbed every 20 minutes by people selling foods, weed, brads, massages, juice, tours, etc. Was supposed to be private beach. Food is super expensive and everything is in American prices. Would of been better to go with an all inclusive. The area around the motel for walking on the road is full of garbage and again the markets very very pricey. $3 USD for one apple. Walking on the road is annoying as every 3 minutes someone is bothering us for taxi, or selling weed. Walked along the beach was worse. First and last time to visit Jamaica. Why so much garbage and people sitting around doing nothing. Pick up the garbage at least. Very disappointing but beautiful beach."

"From check in to check out everything went smoothly. Staff at check in and the restaraunt was very friend and extremely professional. Shanoy at the restaraunt exceptionally accomodating by dropping off a breakfast menu to our room because we couldnt down liaf the app. Property is clean, well maintained and beautiful. Spectacular views from this hotel that captures an amazing sunset Will definately return."

"We had an amazing stay at Taboo Resort! It was myself, my fiancé, and his 4-year-old son, and we all had such a great time. The rooms were clean, spacious, and comfortable with great AC, hot water, and good shower pressure. The beds were very comfortable, and there was plenty of room to unpack for a longer stay. The staff were incredible—everyone from check-in to the bartenders to housekeeping was so friendly and welcoming. The bar had good, affordable drinks, and there’s also a small hut on-site for coffee and local items in the mornings. The beach area was perfect with lounge chairs, and you can easily walk along Seven Mile Beach. At night, there are nearby spots with live music and bonfires just a short walk away. It’s also very family-friendly. My fiancé’s son met other kids who were polite, well-behaved, and played so well together, which made the trip even more enjoyable. Great value for the price—we will definitely be back! Tip: Bring or buy bug spray locally before heading to the beach! "

"This is my own personal experience of Country Country. I didn’t think the staff went above and beyond. The rooms were not as clean with spider webs everywhere. We asked for two blankets multiple times and never got them. Beach towels weren’t readily available when one was soiled. I really wanted to experience prior reviews. But that just didn’t happen. Food was mediocre. Our server was very nice when we did eat there for breakfast. The menu did not reflect what they had. The stay was worth it for the beach access and the stores around like Hi Lo. I feel like no one tried to make us feel welcomed. I won’t stay here again as I’ve experienced other hotels on 7 mile that are a lot more dedicated to their guests. Was pretty disappointed. My Son was told he couldn’t dig on the sand. He’s a kid and that’s what kids do on a beach. Maybe add some signs no digging is allowed. Other properties gad kids digging on the sand and have a great time. I felt like we were walking in egg shells. "
