"Bit sad we didn’t get our usual room with a balcony and facing the beach. But it was a busy weekend in Hokitika with the Wild Food festival. Made for a noisy weekend too! "

"Da wir wusdten, dass es sich um ein Jugendhostel handelt, waren die Ansprüche nicht so hoch. Wir konnten gratis parken, der Empfang war sehr freundlich. Unser Zimmer mit Kingsize Bett war zwar klein, dafür das Bad groß, so dass es mit 2 Koffern keine Probleme gab. Das Bett war bequem und wir hatten sogar einen kleinen Kühlschrank im Zimmer. Leider war es etwas hellhörig, aber mit Ohropax okay. Die Gemeinschaftsbereiche waren in Ordnung, zum Kochen war alles da. Kaffee gab es für knapp 2 Euro...

"Clean room. Nice staff. Common area very useful if you want to bring your own food. Free popcorn and soup.Close to all restaurants and shops. Only thing we didn't like as much is the bathroom sink is too small. "

"A standard Kiwi motel/hotel but far over priced for what the room offered. VERY small shower and single bed I could have rolled out of. The breakfast cost was excessive."

"Wasnt impressed with the staff on arrival as there was no one at reception for quite sometime . Even had another customer come while i was waiting and she had to wait as well. Evwn a cleaner showed up.and was txtn to see where the staff member was . Once in the room the tv was snowy was horrible ended up getting the internet going through tv that was the only way to view the apps on it as tv itself was shocking . "

"The property was really comfortable, clean and tidy. The staff were really welcoming and attentive to our needs. There was a restaurant down the road titled Bettsy Janes was a great place to dine. Recommended by management."

"Every thing was great. Only issue was I booked a 2 bedroom unit with second room containing bunks. Single bed was a bit short for my husband and lower bunk bed was not comfortable for a larger person Everything else was perfect"

"Excellent location, walk to everything, great restaurant next door, big rooms, bath robes, full kitchen, Nespresso machine, fresh milk, guest laundry with choice of dryer or clothesline. Little extras which make a big difference when travelling. "
