"The room was very nice and clean. I stayed one night. I had a ground floor room which had a sunken living room. There were 2 high steps up to the bed, bathroom and kitchen. The deck was nice with furniture. The kitchen had a 2 burner stove and small frig. Note that the reception desk has very limited hours and they do not answer the phone. Keys are left or you.
I ate at the restaurant, which is open at night, and enjoyed the food and live steel drum musician who plays on Friday night. The coffee shop had a decent assortment of fresh prepared drinks and snacks.
The beach is a 15 minute walk on the main road downhill. Magens Bay beach does have an entrance fee. The walk uphill on the main road can be a little difficult if you aren't in good shape. Both pools were clean. Only one spa was operating."
