"This resort is an absolute gem! We booked a standard room at a very affordable rate and honestly didn’t expect much—but the moment we stepped into our chalet, we were blown away. "Staff was great. Breakfast was flawless, many options to choose from. Views are breathtaking. This is an upscale place and you can tell by its patrons. You can feel like royalty at this place. Manager was courteous enough to allow me a late check out due to an unforeseen matter. She didn’t hesitate. I appreciated her for that one.
I’d stay here again in a heartbeat. "

"Check in time was supposed to be 12pm, I arrived at 12:38pm and was told I couldn’t check in till 2pm because the rooms were not ready yet. I went down to order some food for lunch and it literally took an hour before I got served. I had to chase the waiter down to ask for my bill and then look for him again for my change. "I booked and paid online with Expedia which of recent has become my favorite. Little did I know Expedia was no longer working with Lagoon Beach Hotel. I got there and I was told this. I had to pay again to have a place to stay. I will therefore request that Expedia to refund the money I paid online. Otherwise it will be considered as a deliberate scam on the part of Expedia. I cannot understand why Expedia suspended their work with Lagoon Beach Hotel and still keep the hotel on their website....
