"Very pleasant, clean and low stress place to stay while hiking the caminho. A little off the caminho trail but there is a well maintained hike and bike path from the center of Valença that will take you right to Alma Candida. Breakfast is very good too. "

"It’s all about the location at the top of a mountain overlooking a jewel box of a church. This grand hotel was built in the early 1900’s. It has been renovated but is definitely an older property. Room was comfortable and the view was AMAZING. Breakfast was wonderful. "

"Für mich meine erste Wahl in Portugal. In Viana ist auch immer was los. Das Axis Viana Personal ist höflich und erfüllt einem jeden Wunsch. Fußläufig ist alles in Viana zu erreichen. Mit dem Auto ist man auch innerhalb einer halben Stunde bei einem Wasserfall. Vigo Spanien ist in einer Stunde mit dem Auto erreichbar. "

"Utmärkt personal och trevligt bemötande i receptionen. Personalen i restauranten mycket vänlig, men de talade mycket bristfällig engelska vilket gav upphov till missförstånd. Frukosten var inte den bästa. Inga grönsaker och bristande variation på bröd, ost, youghurt, müsli etc. Ojämn kvalite på middagsmaten. Saknade möjlighet att äta frukost och middag på terassen. Stora luftiga rum med terass mot ett trivsamt poolområde. Ingen service vidpoolområdet. Personal kunde gärna ha torkat av dynor...

"What a gem for Camiño, right on the trail and amazing view of the river. The restaurant is excellent and the view and staff can’t be beat, also very highly rated. Good breakfast. The Spa and massage was awesome. We spent 3 hrs at the thermal pool and indoor warm pool, steam room. Rest our tired body from Camiño… highly recommended "

"Séjour d'une nuit convenable. Hotel qui fait un peu vieillot, odeur de nettoyage (je pense à cause de la javel) très forte au moment de rentrer dans la chambre. Chambre spacieuse et confortable. Personnel très agréable et serviable. La chambre donnait sur une route très fréqentée + chemin de fer avec passage de fret la nuit. Petit déjeuner copieux et varié."
