"You definitely do not want to do a garden view room as you're just looking at a tennis court and a basketball court that have been somewhat abandoned. There are a few amenities in the room, no refrigerator, hair dryer or coffee maker. For hotels at this price, those are some of the things I believe should be included."

"Amazing place for a little escape. The bed is extremely comfortable and all you can hear is the sound of nature. The staff goes above and beyond to make sure all your need are met. The food is delicious. The only problem is that you will not want to leave. Fully recommend doing the free activities like paddle board, yoga and mud bath. "

"Stayed at Villa Coco in Santa Catalina with a group of five of us in a suite and had an incredible experience. The property itself is beautiful — the grounds are peaceful, the rooms are clean and comfortable, and everything feels really well cared for. The staff were outstanding from start to finish: friendly, accommodating, and genuinely welcoming. The food was excellent, and being able to borrow bikes to explore the area was such a great touch. The location is also ideal — nicely tucked away...

"The online 1-star rating is not really justified. Although basic, this place is worth the $55 fee. The Hotels.com experience is to be avoided, they overcharged on the rate. The room was basic, the bed below average, but seeing the many species and number of sea birds in the early morning is a treat. The dirt driveway to the site is a biet of a pain."

"You really can’t underestimate how beautiful the location is. However, the food was almost inedible and the Internet nonexistent. Had to go out looking for food and there’s not many restaurants around The facilities look like they have not really cared for them much but the location is amazing right on the beach The staff did a great job but were limited in their expertise and therefore we couldn’t eat there. Food was pretty bad. The breakfast however, was OK and had a variety of eggs or granola...

Bei Ankunft war ein Feuer noch aktiv und musste wegen der heftigen Winde gelöscht werden. Dürres hohes Gras und Bäume daneben könnten zu Waldbrand und Ende des Holzhauses führen! 2. 3,5 Meter-Leiter senkrecht in das Schlafzimmer und steile Zufahrt auf scharfkantigen Fahrspur-Betonplatten ohne Mittelschutz wird vor der Buchung nicht erwähnt. 3....

"Gino was very helpful. Room was ok but tired. We had to have Gino take our luggage up the hill in his 4 wheel drive truck. The town is dumpy with narrow dirt road. Dinning was fine. Snorkeling was great, BUT it requires a 1.5 hour ride each way in open water in a 20’ boat. On the way out we sat in the front of the boat. About every 5 minutes the boat smash down with me wondering if the boat and my back were going to break. Sit in the back of boat! "

"The location of the lodge is really beautifull and the staff is really friendly and helpfull, always tryong to make the extra effort for the guests. You get for what you paid for. It´s not a luxury hotel but a very nice and special lodge in what until very recently was the jungle."
