"Clean and comfortable room, but no fridge. Nice pool, some tiles need replacement but otherwise good condition. Parking was crazy because of a conference but they have a big lot. The restaurant was fantastic and both my kids literally licked their plates. Coffee shop is independent and said they open at 8, someone showed up around 10. "

"This hotel was lovely. Situated on a cliffside with access to a part sand/part rocky beach, it provided a lovely oasis. There was plenty of greenspace to relax and watch the sunset. The pool was refreshing, but often crowded. The restaurant had amazing food, particularly for vegetarians. And prices were very good. The service was a little slow and not clearly organized, but the staff were all kind and helpful when asked. We stayed in a family room which was clean and comfortable, but did not...

"I had a room upstairs but it was changed to downstairs for some reason!! Room changes once I physically appear seems to be the norm here in Panama… but this property was very nice and the food was delicious 😋 "

"This is an older facility, but it is always well maintained and clean. The staff are very friendly and helpful. There's a beautiful pool with a well-stocked bar for those who imbibe. The breakfast was a bit "light," but I expected that for a free (included) breakfast. Get there early for the best parking, because the lot fills up fast! Please tip the maids well because they do a great job!"

"Stayed at Villa Coco in Santa Catalina with a group of five of us in a suite and had an incredible experience. The property itself is beautiful — the grounds are peaceful, the rooms are clean and comfortable, and everything feels really well cared for. The staff were outstanding from start to finish: friendly, accommodating, and genuinely welcoming. The food was excellent, and being able to borrow bikes to explore the area was such a great touch. The location is also ideal — nicely tucked away...

"The online 1-star rating is not really justified. Although basic, this place is worth the $55 fee. The Hotels.com experience is to be avoided, they overcharged on the rate. The room was basic, the bed below average, but seeing the many species and number of sea birds in the early morning is a treat. The dirt driveway to the site is a biet of a pain."

"Gino was very helpful. Room was ok but tired. We had to have Gino take our luggage up the hill in his 4 wheel drive truck. The town is dumpy with narrow dirt road. Dinning was fine. Snorkeling was great, BUT it requires a 1.5 hour ride each way in open water in a 20’ boat. On the way out we sat in the front of the boat. About every 5 minutes the boat smash down with me wondering if the boat and my back were going to break. Sit in the back of boat! "

"This super convenient hotel was a delight and a surprise. Very clean updated and right off the Pan American Highway. Excellent room and the industrial scale but home cooked goodness of the fonda downstairs just perfect. We will 100% plan on staying here every trip."

"The location of the lodge is really beautifull and the staff is really friendly and helpfull, always tryong to make the extra effort for the guests. You get for what you paid for. It´s not a luxury hotel but a very nice and special lodge in what until very recently was the jungle."
