Veraguas Hotels with Breakfast

"Staff was great at check in!! Hotel is very nice and has that historic grand feel to it. Room was huge and had a very large balcony overlooking the pool. Easy to walk to the bus terminal and the stores and restaurants. Bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was fantastic!! Fresh juices, eggs, beef and a variety of breads and traditional Panamanian fare. Best hotel we have stayed at since traveling in Panama these past 5 weeks!! Highly recommend this hotel and would absolutely stay here again!!"

"The staff was friendly and helpful. Pool is one of my favorites clean with a swim up bar. Good breakfast buffet. I was there for a graduation ceremony, a good facility for that as well."

"A wonderful location that was quiet and with a wonderful view. My wife Kelly and I had a delux room that was perfect for us, and our 3 young adult children and friend had a triple, and it was the perfect reunion/graduation location that had something for everyone. Paddleboarding, kayaking and a gorgeous pool to watch surfing. Great launch for Coiba, and birding with Javier was wonderful."

"Our room had some drawbacks, like many gaps between the roof and walls that enable insects to go inside, but we used our own mosquito net and we were safe to sleep quietly. The second night ants invaded our room, we were offered to be moved to another room, but we were ok with the solution to spray them as we weren't in the mood to pack all our belongings. Reynaldo who runs the hostel is really nice guy, very attentive, helpful and available any time of the day. He is also behind the local infocenter, that provides a good source of necessary info about all possible activities in Santa Fe. Food in hostel's restaurant was also good."

"The online 1-star rating is not really justified. Although basic, this place is worth the $55 fee. The Hotels.com experience is to be avoided, they overcharged on the rate. The room was basic, the bed below average, but seeing the many species and number of sea birds in the early morning is a treat. The dirt driveway to the site is a biet of a pain."

"The hotel is located on a beautiful bluff overlooking the ocean. Our only negative review is the 2 mile dirt road to get to the beautiful location. "
