"I have requested a quiet corner room while making the booking and upon checking in on arrival i was told to pay an extra R200 for the quiet room which i did pay to my surprise the following day I was asked again to pay an extra R200 ... which i did pay as i did not want to move to an other room...I really feel so disgusted about how people can be so so greedy when it comes to money that we will leave behind when dead...the place was even too noisy with the occupants upstairs."

"Great house with superb staff. The house has a nice garden, a pool (not heated) and a fire pit plus braai. It has a covered patio, 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, and a double garage. The house is very secure. Everything is in perfect shape, well maintained and cleaned daily. Close to town and just across the street is a small park where the hippo’s graze at night! "Our first time at Thanda and we loved it . The staff were all wonderful and could not do enough to help. Zeepo and Zee were the best guide and tracker we have ever had on safari . The spa treatments were great and the food , while not fine dining, was really tasty . Really lovely atmosphere and vibe around the place and supportive of the local Zulu communities . We wanted to go back in October but it seems to be fully booked for our dates 😢"

"The tent facilities are great - every reasonable thing has been considered to make your stay comfortable and it is all at a competitive price. Staff are friendly and helpful. The game drives are all led by knowledgeable and friendly staff so even if the wild-life is sometimes hard to find, they do their utmost to keep you informed and enjoy the experience of being in the "bush". A great place to stay for an African experience. It does not provide (the unwanted) 5* accommodation but provides a real feel of what many people would like to find. It was our 5th visit, so that must show something to indicate our approval! "

"Fantastic property, really just a beautiful, wonderful place. We only stayed for the night but would love to come back and enjoy the Leopard Corner for a week or so, there’s so much to see and do and the place is so comfortable, clean and at the same time homey. The host was fantastic, so gracious and we had to leave early to catch a flight so he packed us a to go lunch. Highly, highly recommend, 10 stars! *****"
