"The hotel looks nice enough, but it is a distance to town. This would not have been an issue if the little restaurant down the street were open in the evenings. It is wonderful and the best food we had in Italy, but since tourist season is waning, they now close after lunch. We were told the hotel does not provide shuttle service on the weekends. "We simply did not sleep, it was a hot few nights and the air con was broken. We told someone about it after the first night, they said someone would look into it. Clearly they didn’t touch it as it was the same on the second night. Also I wouldn’t rate this hotel as 4 stars, it’s very dated and missing a lot of usual amenities "

"This is a very nice small hotel with very accommodating staff. We advised that we would be arriving quite late and there was a helpful staff member waiting for us, ready to help with luggage, parking information and anything else we needed. The room was charming and clean and the breakfast was excellent. There are stairs but they are manageable (I am 68 years old and my wife is 66).
