"There are times when you can find a low-cost hotel room that's pretty decent. But this was not one of those. It's an old chain hotel that has closed but repurposed as a cheap uncared for hotel. The clerk seemed like I was bothering him just by renting one of his rooms. The first room did not have a working heater. He was kind enough to give me another oom withch was an upgrade but the room was dirty and dark - not enough light. The walls are painted blue, adding to the darkness of the space. And...
