"If you have ever been to Hanoi, you would know how busy and noisy the city is. Staying at the Diamond Westlake Suites is the complete opposite. It is tranquil, and a very relaxing place to stay. The room was super large, with separate bedroom, and living area. The kitchen was fully equipped with a large tall fridge/freezer, washer/dryer, electric cooker, rice maker, kettle, pans,cutlery, iron and ironing board The large free form swimming pool had three sections, one at 1.8m for swimmers, one roped off for non swimmers/toddlers etc, and a separate baby pool. There was towels supplied at the poolside, and sunbeds. There was also a lifeguard on duty. The grounds had a small children's play area, plus a golf driving range. There were hot or cold choices for breakfast, including eggs,bacon, sausages etc., which were supplied on request. All staff at the suites were welcoming,helpful and polite.The site also had its own security, which was reassuring. The area around the Suites location, had plenty of places to eat (Vietnamese, Chinese, Korean, Taiwanese, Vegetarian). We had booked accommodation in the Old Quarter for the remainder of our stay in Hanoi, which we now regret, as we miss the Diamond Suites Westlake. The suites are only a £2.70, twenty minute Grab ride to the Old Quarter."
