"Apon arrival my room number 6 had a very strong smell of urine throughout the unit , I bought this to attention of staff whom came and said they could not smell anything. I was given another room . I didn’t feel at all satisfied with the outcome come as the staff member said he couldn’t smell anything not smell anything .Uou really need to lift your game to compete in the motel business"

"The hosts are so attentive and welcoming from the minute you arrive. The Lodge and rooms are spotless and very comfortable and the view is seriously amazing!! A lovely private getaway - definitely recommend "

"Very tastefully decorated and beautifully furnished accommodation with lovely views out over Lake Taupo. The suite had everything we needed and more. Lots of lovely little touches. Breakfast was excellent. Liz and Steve were very welcoming hosts and we would not hesitate to recommend Belle Vue. We shall certainly stay here again if we come back to Taupo."

"We were only here for three nights but loved the time we had here. It was welcoming, spotless and our fridge was stocked everyday with breakfast foods, even bacon. The kitchen was really well stocked as was the rest of the house. For us, instead of being lulled to sleep by the sound of the waves at night, we were able to hear the river and drop off to sleep with that beautiful sound, it really was a luxury home away from home. Thank you"
