"Great place to stay, reasonably priced and in a great location for accessing Abel Tasman Park and all the things you can do there plus the towns of Motueka (5 minutes), Mapua etc. As for the lodge, we really enjoyed the communal feel and chatting with people from all over the world. The breakfast was excellent and included their own eggs, fruit, and freshly made scones and muffins. "

"Tidy cottage. Showing age and has partial do ups. Curtains needed more hooks as barely hanging. Cutlery draw needs cleaning and improved. No TV but excellent wifi. Shower has excellent water flow but no hair shampoo. "

"Almost everything about this place was great - i even had a decent view of the mountains over the fence through my back sliding door which i liked to keep open for the fresh late summer air when in the room. I barely heard any noise from people in other rooms, including no tv noise! The primary downside was the unsupportive mattress which was a common experience for me throughout NZ, leading to poor sleep and aggravated bad back, even with all the wonderful pillows.
