"We spent four nights at the hotel before staying at a large, expensive all-inclusive resort. After the all-inclusive, we came back to Double A, which we preferred. We enjoyed the personal service, being steps from the beach and the swimming pool that was shaded by beautiful flowering trees. The breakfasts which were included were excellent. "Nice resort. Good food. Large rooms with nice showers and plenty of hot water and good water pressure. Security around the property made me feel safe. Beach is nice when the tide is out. Lots of lounge chairs available. Workers all over the property cleaning, raking, trimming the trees/bushes. Very well maintained public spaces. "

"This is an amazing property to stay in Zanzibar. We were upgraded to the frangipani villa which was spacious and well appointed. The private pool was great. The main swimming pool is huge and doesn’t get too crowded. The food options at the main dining room were good with a lot of vegetarian options for breakfast and dinner.
