"Vores ophold levede desværre ikke op til tidligere anmeldelser. Da vi ankom var der ingen til stede på ejendommen (ejeren ankom 30-45 min senere efter have ringet til ham). "Fantastic location, but disappointing in so many other ways. First of all there was no booking when we arrived and when it was eventually sorted it was made clear the management thought we had not paid enough through the booking agent we had used. We stayed for 7 nights and the room was never cleaned, not even once. There was a regular smell of sewage from the bathroom and the room was very tired. "This hotel has basic amenities and it's proximity to the beach is wonderful. The service is exceptional and the people who work there are so wonderful. This is not a luxurious hotel by any means, but would I stay here again, yes I would. Basic comforts were provided, including a mosquito net over the bed and a mosquito repellant plug in (much needed for the third friend who didn't have a mosquito net over her single bed). "Great location. Friendly staff. While it looks clean there are corners and spots of lack of hygiene. Also when u ask for room cleaning they only do the bed. They don’t clean the bathrooms or replace glasses or clean the room. The make shift gym was also very dirty and I had to ask them multiple times to clean it. The jacuzzi while I seen the worker clean it- I didn’t think it was clean enough. Also while breakfast is included in the package- 1 morning we were told there is no buffet and we had to order whatever we wanted from eggs and Indian dosas. While overall a good place and staff are helpful - would expect more for what we pay for"

"Good property for a holiday with kids. The activities like trapeze, zipline etc were good for teens and pre teens. Akash, Pushpita and others do a great job with managing the activities. The kids club is good for the little ones. The staff at the front office, pool and restaurants is excellent. The beach access is good. The property has 3 pools ( kids, family and adults). There are multiple restaurants and bars within the property serving pan asian, continental , local and indian cuisine. The food we tried was good, specially local cuisine like kottu and even the asian food. You can book excursions like a trip to the national park or the bird park which are not very far from the property. The icing on the cake were the peacocks which you can spot throughout the property. I do not play golf but the golf course looked good as well. Overall a nice property with something for all age groups."

"Reception staff Chalaka prepared the room when I arrived at the hotel at least 2 hrs before check-in time and was very helpful throughout my stay. Thank you Chalaka. Clean, well equiped room and bathroom facilities with a comfortable bed. Since the Hotel is on the main road, there are many eating and shopping facilities to use. "

"Had a great stay that definitely met our expectations. Room was beautiful and comfortable with much needed AC. Perfect, relaxing location with a beautiful pool and beach. The hotel has a newer chef who has upgraded the food which we enjoyed so much we didn’t feel the need to schlep into the busy town. Would definitely stay here again if we ever make our way back to Sri Lanka one day. The hotel also provides but they seem to be around especially if one is sensitive. Also special mention to the owner who is super friendly and hands-on enduring that the guests’ needs are being met. Thank you! "
