"Fantastic location, but disappointing in so many other ways. First of all there was no booking when we arrived and when it was eventually sorted it was made clear the management thought we had not paid enough through the booking agent we had used. We stayed for 7 nights and the room was never cleaned, not even once. There was a regular smell of sewage from the bathroom and the room was very tired. The meal we ordered one night was of such a small portion that we subsequently had to order...

"This hotel has basic amenities and it's proximity to the beach is wonderful. The service is exceptional and the people who work there are so wonderful. This is not a luxurious hotel by any means, but would I stay here again, yes I would. Basic comforts were provided, including a mosquito net over the bed and a mosquito repellant plug in (much needed for the third friend who didn't have a mosquito net over her single bed). "The property is lovely - nice rooms, great shower - but the food is just okay. We had a great stay and the staff was very friendly. It is fairly easy to get into Tangalle itself from this property, though you will likely need to organize transportation because walking down the main road to get into town is a bit harrowing (a tuk tuk will be $1-2 USD each way). The downside to this property is that, while you can see the ocean from the "ocean view" rooms, the ocean is a bit far away, and there...
