"The key card did not work. It took some time to get a key that worked for the door. The bathroom had a terrible odour as it had 3 or 4 urinal discs sitting on a ledge above the door. Check out was 10 am which is very early."

"Wunderschöne Anlage an einsamem Strand. Tolle Zimmer, super Pool, leckeres Essen, sehr netter Besitzer und aufmerksames Personal. Einziger Wehrmutstropfen: Der Strand ist sehr seicht und deshalb leider nicht gut zum Shwimmen geeignet."

"The location for me was perfect, a little bit outside Leshoto center. You can walk there or find someone to drive you there. It is a quiet place and relatively clean for Tanzanian standards. I love it because is surrounded but nature you can hear the birds chirping. And at night is a bit chilly but they provide blankets. The price is fair which includes breakfast. "We loved this place! It was clean, quiet and reasonably priced. There’s a restaurant and nice garden area for dining. It is a short tuk tuk drive from the ferry or bus station (4000-5000shillings) across the road is the yacht club where you get a day pass for 10 000 shillings/pp, lots of lounging areas, pool table, showers, lockers and beachfront plus the food was exceptional (one of our favourite meals all trip) and reasonably priced. "Loved our stay at the Lawns Hotel! Situated walkable to all you need in Lushoto and close by all the trails we wanted to trek up! The pool area is adorable and we truly felt like we were part of the jungle. Would recommend! They also have a refillablle water bottle station (with clean water!) which is sooo much better than the constant water bottles you have to throw away!"
