"Decent budget type of hotel.. However the wifi did not work in the room and I needed to work so had to go to lobby to get a decent connection for phone and laptop. Drain in shower was loose. Soap dispenser did not work in shower. Towels are like sand paper. Walls could use a painting of at least some touch up."

The manager arranged transport to the border, and his son accompanied us there, then hired a van to take us from the Thai departure desk to the Myanmar immigration window. The manager's son then took us onward to the waiting van, and we drove a few blocks into Myawaddy where another van was hired to take us on to Mawlamyine. And they helped us convert currency. "Room nice, clean and comfortable. Staff great. However, surrounding guests were noisy all night Friday night and hotel could not handle that. WiFi spotty. Expedia and other sites say property accepts Visa and MasterCard, but hotel would only accept cash."
