"Room was very small and not particularly clean. Breakfast was chaotic. Very busy every day, sometimes difficult to get a seat. Hotel in a very good position, ideal trains etc Rather noisy to sit down for a quiet drink in the evening."

"Rooms are dated. With the amount of money they charge there should be USB plugs somewhere in the room (most hotels have them on lamps or a desk) and some curtains besides only blackout. When your room faces the interior you are looking into the rooms of hundreds of other people and your options are everyone sees you or blackout your room. Most hotels have two sets of curtains for that very reason so you can still let in some light and maintain some privacy. The showers are dated and you cant use...

"The staff was lovely, helpful and kind. The room was relatively clean but could use some updating. The tea kettle was old and dusty and the couch in the room needed some attention. Also, the property claims to be waterfront but there was no water view from the hotel which was disappointing. But overall, a good stay with an attentive staff."
