"Set in a beautiful spot overlooking the lake. The village is about 2-3 miles away but don't take the car. The roads just get narrower and narrower and are extremely steep. The hotel has no lift but we were given a room on the ground floor as my husband has problems with stairs. The downside of this was that we were awoken by a table top sale being set up right outside our window by some very noisy Brits. I am surprised that the hotel allowed this immediately outside bedroom windows. Beware...

"Room reserved with double bed but room proposed was with 2 beds;with street view quite busy; only half window could be opened as the other part was stuck with the fridge; receptionist refused to change the room as no more room available. After verification on.hotel.com: other similar room were still available. Following further discussion with another receptionist 2 rooms were proposed and the last one was fine as expected with view on the patio Car park only to drop and pick up luggage but...

"Vi havde 3 overnatninger på dette enestående lille hotel. Blev ved ankomsten budt på en forfriskning, mens det Davinia indgående fortalte om seværdigheder og anbefalede spisesteder i området. Hotellet er utrolig smukt renoveret og en oplevelse i sig selv. Værtsparret Davinia og Raul brænder for deres lille hotel, hvor maden primært er lavet af økologiske råvarer. "We enjoyed our short stay at El Mirador de Rute ,and recommended our daughter her husband and son ,stay there when they visit soon .Very quiet mid week busy with families at the weekend all staff helpful and friendly ,comfortable rooms we will visit again next time in region "
