"Let's be honest. If you want to just walk out to the beach directly to bath, you are at the wrong Hotel. If you want to walk 1-2 minutes to the beach from off the road then you are staying at the correct Hotel. You are in the middle of night activity which does not disturb you. St. Lawrence Gap is a one way so it is pedestrian friendly."

"I stayed here for 5 days, and I wanted to leave an honest review because I saw so many mixed reviews before my trip. This hotel is wonderful! The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the AC worked perfectly throughout our entire stay. I also loved the heated jacuzzi. The star of the show was definitely the food! Every meal was delicious and full of flavor. This is a smaller all-inclusive resort, so there is only one bar and one restaurant, but the food and drinks never disappointed. The only minor cons were that the beach directly across from the property had quite a bit of seaweed, so we visited another beach during our stay. Also, there aren’t many stores or restaurants within walking distance. However, Oistins Fish Fry is close by and was amazing on Friday night. Overall, I honestly have no complaints and would definitely stay here again!"

"Absolutely lovely stay at Sugar Bay. I wouldn’t consider it a high end hotel, but for the money I think it more than delivers. Everything felt very clean, staff were friendly, and food was better than many all inclusive. It is on the smaller side, which has pros and cons. Realistically, it is one pool you can swim in. The other was very small, tucked away and not used. The staff, while great, don’t do service on beach which I often think is nice to have. The water sports are nice. Beach was beautiful. Didn’t want to leave!!"

"What can I say? My day was amazing. I was there for in a week and three days. The staff was amazing. The rooms was always clean. The AC was 100% working exactly the way it needed to work. The pool was always clean and amazing. met a lot of great people there I will be back very soon. Everything in the area is walking distance to eat to try new things. I love the restaurant across the street called pure Ocean. They have everything that you would love especially their run punch. It is amazing. So please if you are thinking of a short trip and don’t really need the car life experience take a trip to divi Southwinds Barbados, and you will have nothing to regret."

"BOOK IT!!! No need to look anywhere else. I have so much wonderful stuff to say. It’s only one con- no elevators so everyone can’t experience this hotel. From the booking every email was answered quickly. They allowed a company to come in and decorate my room for my husband birthday! The view was spectacular the room was great! It had a kitchen and a microwave. The staff was overly amazing especially at the restaurant! They always had nice music playing. We even got up to dance! No matter if it was breakfast, lunch or dinner the food was awesome! I would recommend this hotel a thousand times over! You could walk the areas for other restaurants and nightlife. This was a great choice. Any time I come to Barbados South Gap is my place to stay! I don’t know else you could want! Maybe for the restaurant to stay open until 10pm. But that if you had to find a complaint!"

"Beautiful resort in a wonderful part of the country. It is close to the main strip but far enough away in the countryside you get to really see the country. The rooms was delightfully large and extremely clean. Wonderful Staff highly recommend. I hope to come back again someday!!"

"Hilton Barbados was a clean and standard hotel. It does need some upgrades however it was clean and had amenities such as gym, pool, bar and restaurants. The staff were very nice and helpful."
