Top South Sardinia Hotel Reviews
Almar Timi Ama Villasimius
10/10 Excellent
"My husband and I spent five wonderful nights at this hotel and were genuinely impressed by the service — every staff member was helpful and polite. A special thank you to Manager Corrado: thanks to him our stay went above and beyond. The beach is absolutely stunning and the breakfast was delicious; the pastry selection was my favorite, especially the fresh, crispy croissants. There are plenty of activities on offer — we loved our paddle session. Plus free shuttle to Villiasimus. The clientele tended to be older than us (we’re in our late 30s), which suited us perfectly since we prefer a relaxed atmosphere without loud, chaotic evenings. If you want a simple, peaceful, and well-run getaway with great service and a beautiful beach, this is the right place. Highly recommended."

8/10 Good
"Lovely room with mini fridge, great shower and balcony and really comfortable beds. Brilliant free activities for kids and teens morning 10am, afternoon 3pm and night 9pm. Watch out for the special kids activities like art classes that come with an extra charge as these at €25 are quite pricey. Activities for adults and kids are shared across three hotels in Chia Laguna so padel and table tennis were across the road but only a couple of minutes walk. There was no yoga on when we stayed which was disappointing. Food at Domus restaurant was plentiful and varied, no junk food which was great but no pizza or gelati (if you want pizza or ice cream you need to buy it from the piazza bar). Restaurant servers were not very friendly, except for the guys bringing out the food who were excellent and very helpful. There is an optional surcharge added to your bill on check out for tips for waiting staff. There is handy free road train that goes to the beautiful sandy beach nearby every 15 minutes which is brilliant. The water is clear and safe for swimming. There is a beach bar for drinks snd ice cream and an excellent water sports centre. We went horse riding near the hotel: 1hr beginners ride €45pp. We only spent a little time by the hotel pool which has a snack bar because the sun beds were so hard and uncomfortable. The beach sun loungers are divided up by hotel so the Village section has hard sun loungers. Conrad guests get lovely padded loungers so we used them in the back row."

Sant'Elmo Beach Hotel

"We really enjoyed our stay and loved that the beach is just a short walk away. The food was good and everyone working there was friendly and helpful. I had read some reviews about noise issues, but we requested a quiet cottage and we honestly didn't hear any noise from adjoining rooms."
