"The check in process for same day (booked at 3pm at airport when Airbnb canceled same day due to property issues) was delayed until after 8pm. There were places to lounge while waiting but with jet lag it was not ideal. The property itself was beautiful with a great breakfast buffet. We were able to walk to all the locations we wanted to visit."

"Good location, a few minutes stroll to Valetta. The stay was spoiled by three things: the air con in the room did not work, so the temperature was oppressive; the bathroom stank; and the TV did not work. Other smaller things included cheap plastic toilet seats that were not installed properly. The roof terrace is also tiny, and can seat eight people plus two sunbeds, and it would then be uncomfortably crowded. And at night sleep was spoiled by local yobos shouting and boy racers screaming...

"This hotel is truly exceptional, from the moment we checked in to (sadly) leaving, it was an absolutely perfect stay. Staff and owner were all gorgeous people - so helpful, friendly and chilled. Bed was super comfy, hotel itself is beautifully bohemian and traditionally Maltese and amenities were a bonus - loved the rooftop bar with its stunning views. "An absolutely stunning old building in such a perfect area for our first visit to Malta. We stayed in Jean as it was our anniversary celebration and loved having the bathtub in the room to relax in after long days walking up and down the steps in the city. The hotel was a true gem of a find and the area itself was so much nicer to stay in than Valetta in our opinion."
