"We had two nights here to complete our Sicily holiday. The hotel is expensive but it is summer. The room was spacious but the shower needs a good scrub. The pool was perfect for the hot days but railings and posts need some direct maintenance which is a feature of Sicily but should not be at this price. Location is good as it is not far to walk to the busy old town. Restaurant was very enjoyable. "

"My stay at the Splendid Hotel in Taormina was absolutely wonderful. The location couldn’t be better - just a short walk to the town center and the cable car that takes you down to the sea. It’s the perfect base to explore everything Taormina has to offer. What truly stood out, though, was how warm and welcoming the atmosphere was from the moment I arrived. "The hotel is an easy 10/10!! The property is gorgeous and conveniently located to the piazza and a hiking trail. The resturaunt is definitely one of the best ones on Mondello strip as well!The pool was lovely and we used it everyday, they also have ocean access too. I stayed for 5 nights and six days with 3 travelers, we were properly accommodated. The staff were very helpful with any needs or questions. Couldn’t have asked for a better stay in Sicily! "
