"Our hotel stay didn't actually happen because despite several emails sent by myself confirming the time and dates of my stay when we arrived at the hotel at 2am the whole place was closed for guests - I was not made aware of the fact that I would need a code to enter the building. I have copies of the emails telling them of the date and time of arrival but between the Hotel and Expedia they chose to ignore our arrival. "The room was spacious and comfortable. The staff was amazing. I loved the property and yes it’s not close to the old town but I didn’t mind it (10 minute car ride). Loved the pool and restaurant. "

Worth the mention: - Swimming pool is nice and warm (it was quiet at the night) - Hotel is not in close proximity to the town centre (20 mins walk) in which its fine when the weather is ok. The hotel is ranked 4 stars and it felt like it. Unlike many hotels in Romania were is clasaified as 4 stars yet it would feel below that. "

"Amazing location, a hotel with lots of history that needs a lot of care and updates. There are not many places with so much history behind them. It is sad to see that it is starting to be a run down place. Hope the management will take care of it, renovate and improve."

"A little difficult to contact the owner if you do not have data or roaming. Although, the owner is more than helpful. The restaurant associated with the property is excellent. "

"Very nice and cozy apartment, clean and very big for a downtown location. The owner is answering fast to all questions. The only issue is the parking, you have to wait to get a paid parking spot in the front of the building. If not, you can park there after 10-11 pm when few of cars will leave. "

"Lovely and very kind staff. Check in earlier, which was very good. Spa and pool area was overcrowded and not so clean. A lot of children jumping and playing. The facilities were not as expected from a 4 star hotel. Saunas were out of order. Had very good dinner and drinks and service though. Some areas of the hotel needed repair. "
