"Apart from a nice welcome, the lodge is in really bad condition. The room is dark, the bathroom is rusty (and they don’t even give you soap), the swimming pool was blur, full of chlorine. Don’t even think of lying on the sun beds, their mattresses are very dirty. Last but not least, they are building something right next to the rooms, starting at 6am in the morning! Definitely not a place to recommend."

"We had a really nice stay at Anse Kerlan Chalets. The chalet was clean and well equipped. It is on the beachfront and it has a garden fully equipped with tables, sunlougers and hammocks. It's not cheap but accommodations in Praslin seem to be more expensive than in Mahe or La Digue. The location is a bit remote but Pascal picked us up at the jetty and drove us around when needed. "Extremely basic accommodations, the room needed an overhaul, lights, fixtures, tv, electric outlets, clean up at the bathroom, new toilet water bowl, a paint job, new door and more. It was actually a lot worse than a basic motel 6. Beach access was excellent though. Personel (when there) very very nice and friendly."

Fresh fruit from the garden for breakfast and the avocado from the tree at the balcony was amazing. Beautiful beach right below the hotel at a walking distance of 5 minutes. Loved it! "

"The property is absolutely divine. Not too big and never felt overcrowded and the villas are spacious and private, also very comfortable and modern. Older property but excellent upkeep. Rustic and tropical and just one with nature. Whenever there was an issue and usually something simple like a blown bulb it was sorted right away. The staff are extremely attentive and friendly always going above and beyond to ensure our experience was world class! From the special anniversary dinner to the private dining experience, the curation of our island experience, the early check in and the late check out. Even the several brews of ginger lemon honey and rum provided when we were under the weather made our stay so personable and accommodating and just so absolutely blissful!!!! Congratulations to the team and our deepest gratitude for making our getaway so special and memorable. Much love to you all!!!!"
